So on the main forum there's been some discussion about whether 'turbo' is fair for this skilll or not. For those of you who don't know, if you use it to attack with "Z" instead of using the skill button, you will rapdily 'repeat' the button press thus using the skilll at it's fastest speed, which not only will help your finger (it hurts!) but also helps leveling a LOT.


So do you guys think it's fair or not? Realistically it doesn't make us overpowered but it helps out when starting, so yeah. :]

I think its pretty fair, considering that archers don't get many active skills first job compared to other classes

Seems fine to me. The damage from attacks like this get overshadowed by second job skills, so it only seems overpowered in the beginning.

Indeed, it does give Archer's a very strong foothold to get to lvl 20 with quite fast, although to be honest I've seen the other classes leveling just as fast!

Too bad you can't use it on bosses, lol.

During pre-CBT I was able to toss up Tutu. He didn't stay air-borne for very long, though. .-.
I just hold down my 'Z' button. Works just as well.

Yea holding Z works quite nicely actually, that's why it's pretty debatable whether or not this is correct.

Some things make it even faster though, I use the guild skill for Attack Speed buff and I attack a LOT faster with it :]

You COMPLETELY misunderstood that topic.
What he was saying in that topic, was that if you use a Gamepad to play the game, and your gamepad has a "turbo" button, it can spam Z multiple times, and allow you to fire WAY faster than you can by holding Z.
Something like 20+ arrows per second.

Holding Z was how it was intended, using turbo like that is what's unfair.

That's a lie, it doesn't work.

The cooldown is 0.1s, meaning 10 times a second. I've tried, there's no difference.

The only thing I've seen speed it up are the guild/couple buffs, and only barely...

Cooldown is 0.1 seconds, so 10 shots per second. Couple buff is 10% faster attack rate, so it becomes 1 shot per 0.09 seconds. and so it is 11 shots per 0.99 seconds. It doesn't really affect the attack rate. Lol basically what Teleclast said `-`

Line up one person with the buff and one without and fire steadily, if you're telling me that you don't notice the difference you're crazy.

By the way, you can further that by the following:
1)Medal - Squad Patrol +4% Attack Speed
2)Guild skill +10% Attack Speed
3)Couple Skill +10% Attack Speed

Total of +24% (+25% if it's multiplicative, which I doubt it would be, would get crazy at later levels...)

In other words that's 12 arrows a second, almost 13. Yes, very speedy.

To be honest you notice the difference even in the +4% attack speed, but it's very noticeable with +14%.

Lets see... 0.1 x 0.24 = 0.024. 0.1 - 0.24 = 0.076.

If the CD becomes 0.076 seconds, then it becomes 13.15 shots per second. Now the damage goes crazy =/

Lets say your Anti-Air arrow does 500 per hit. Without attack speed buff it is 10 per second. 500 x 10 is 5000 damage. 500 x 13.15 = 6575 damage. And this is only in 1 second. If you had to fire for 5 seconds, then it would become:

5000 x 5 = 25000
6575 x 5 = 32875

Hax damage =/

It's basically OHKO in PvP if you're using a controller with turbo, or you're using Z on a keyboard with no lag (Like me =P)

love archers. But I love the hunter class. since they have arrow shower something, its a GOOD combo skill if you wana get S rank in missions :D

Arrow Shower + Rocket Launcher is basically a 50+ hit combo =/

But holy crap Arrow Shower is so noisy when you land full crits.

It won't do 500 damage until you're like lvl 60 xD
And at that point, you do a lot more damage :]

50+ AFAIK RL only does 1 hit. AS however does quite the amount of hits which is nice @_@

If it was a mob of like 6+ monsters... '-'

And Rocket Launcher does pretty good damage (I hit around 1k)

RL hits like 14 monsters, it's such a beast for mobs O_O;

I've 'heard' rumors that it has a certain percent chance to automatically "1hko" any monster.
I was hitting 1k~1.4k at lvl 30 myself as well.

Actually hold Z on any computer and it's still fine.

I don't like Joy2Key so I use Xpadder, you can do the same thing really.


Xpadder has a goddamn limit of 0.2s for turbo, which is a pain though.

Found a few ways around it, but it's 'whatever'.

If you're using Z as your button for AAS though, you can honestly just have XPadder hold it.
