THE TWO PATHS OF ARCHERS.
================================================== =======

Short Introduction of myself.

I'm a Singaporean (Not going to reveal my name anyway), 14 years old this year, currently studying in a normal secondary school in the express stream. I'm a ballista (Delufyre level 48) and a hunter (Delubi level 28) in Dragonica of the world Elga.

2.1 F.A.Q(s) [Apparently nothing unless someone asked me some questions]

================================================== =======
1.1 Why should you choose an archer?
================================================== =======

Archer is one of the four main primary job you get to choose in character creation. Archer, although cannot whip out much combo due to the fact they relies on Anti-air shooting most of the time, and have not much style in combo-ing a nice combo, but the anti-air shot (refer as AAS), pawns almost every skill in terms of speed and sadistic.

Recommended requirements to be an archer :
  • Most importantly : Having a good computer and a good graphic card, so that your anti-air shot owns
  • Agile and quick
  • Love ranged classes
  • A moderate training curve (Not so hard, and not so easy to train)
  • Love being sadist in PvP, seeing people getting owned by your AAS

If your computer cannot support good AAS, (An average good AAS shoots about 6-7 hits per second, while a godlike one shoots about 8-9 hits per second), when your AAS shoots like 1-4 per second, you will LOSE out alot, so you should consider to...
  • Buy a new computer, or upgrade or what so ever
    OR........................
  • Change to another class

Unless you want to suffer for your archer life.

================================================== =======
1.2 Skill Point Allocation before level 19
================================================== =======

Your first journey starts at some swamped with forest area. Blah blah... Lets skip that, you will learn all those tutorial when you know. I forgot those default button... So skip that =P

I will give you a rough explanation of each skill. I will not go into details, too much.

Quote:
Moonwalk Level 0/1

Slide backwards

Useless as it seem, doesn't give you any benefit, you can just walk behind. No explanation needed.

Even if you train till high, its useless.

Moonwalk Shot Level 0/1

Shoot when sliding

Useless when you don't learn moonwalk. Just throws a weak arrow that spout to 5 foes.

Rising Shot level 5/5 (1/5 for hunters, 3/5 for rangers at higher level)

Launch up foes to skies

Max this if you can, its our only launching skill (besides shootdown) to use anti-air shot.

At higher levels, you will still use this as an primary skill to launch for rangers, while hunters usually use rocket launcher after level 31.

Anti-air Shot level 5/5

Penetrate arrows to the air to hit foes

Max this. Our most useful skill even reaching to 3rd job. We can't live without it. Really. Your life of an archer, 90% of the damage comes from AAS.

Double Shot level 1/5 (0/5 at higher levels)

Shoot 2 arrows quickly

Use this to have another spare attack for unlaunchable foes or etc. At higher levels, you won't have much use for hunters due to spammable skills, while rangers may want to add level 1 or leave it as none due to the long cooldown of their skills.

Shootdown level 1/1

Launch foes slightly with arrow in midair suspension

A good skill in PvP even in the future. Use this to strike foe in point blank to launch and AAS quickly. Shoot 3 arrows by the way. In PvP, when foe jump in mid-air, you can just jump > shootdown to get the foe into launched stats and AAS frenzy.

Multishot level 5/5

Charge up your bow and inflict with multiple arrow to foes

A bossing skill. Use this in point blank to strike maximum potential damage at level 5 with 7 arrows. Can be used effectively at PvP if you know how to.

Relaunch level 0/5 (1/5 if you PvP)

Launch ground foes to air with a trampoline kick

Useless at early levels, master launching before going this, anyway focus on other skill rather than this. In PvP, you can launch foe after they fall, though the chances are less, due to immediate roll after fall.

Bow Mastery level 5/5

Increase bow damage

Good skill at early level, increase 90 dmg for level 5. Ups a lot really. At later level, it will start to lose it's potential since the bow you used increases damage per 5 levels.

Rapid Step level 0/5

Increase movement Speed

You don't go to PvP, and neither you need a fast speed at early levels. In future, either a ranger or hunter, you may add if you want.

================================================== =======
1.3 Choosing your 2nd job with details.
================================================== =======

Alright, straight to the point. Ranger is an early gamer while hunter is a late gamer. Ranger primarily focuses on burst damage while suffers from long cooldown and Hunter focuses on constant damage while suffers from severe weakness at early levels.

Ranger's Pro and Con

Pros
Have great skills, better than hunters
Burst damage
Fun class to play (Machinery)
Challenging class to take on for challenging players

Cons
Long cooldown
No autolock skills
Having a sucky late gamer

Hunter's Pro and Con

Pros
Have many autolock skills
Constant damage
Highest movement speed for the whole 8 classes
Spammable skills

Cons
Autolock skills follows a special (weaker) formula
Weak at early games
Set equipment are expensive and ugly

Decide which class you want to play, because it will be hard to change after your advancement.

Archer > Hunter > Trapper (The late gamers)

OR

Archer > Ranger > Ballista (The early gamers)

Hunter < Ranger in moderate difference ; Ballista < Trappers in very big difference

3.1 F.A.Qs
================================================== =======
1.1. What is a hunter?
================================================== =======

Hunter, you may think they hunt things by their weapon bow or some sort of zombies who prey on people, but they are not. Hunters are...

Quote:
A superior class of Archer, Hunter is the most representing job which can be practiced with bow. They are very good at tracking animals' trace and using traps. They are experts in using bows who can shoot their target from any angle. Hunters can double their power by summoning animals they captured by training the animals. They have been receiving respect for their strong bodies and amazing bow skills. Upon the crisis of the world, Hunters volunteered to join the army. They have upgraded their marksman through cross-firing skill, and marched forward over countless victories in battle.
Yes, quoted in the DGN's homepage. Summarizing it : Hunter are great sharpshooters who have trained and tamed animals, and have accurate bow-wielding shots with numerous victories

Hunter are well spammable in their skills and versed in autolocking skills. As far they are the superior class in late game rather than rangers.

However, that will means they are very weak at their early levels, too feeble to solo themselves, even knights and gladiators can defeat them.

================================================== =======
1.2a How to be a hunter? (Old style)
================================================== =======

1st. Talk to your bow instructor (Located near the soul craft NPC, or in bearings, 245 degree.)

2nd. Hunt 20 hunter scrolls from monster at bearded whale beach. Well, the drop rate is 10%, so you probably need to kill 200, or lucky, maybe few.

3rd. Give the scroll, and do F4 toto, find a decent party and down it fast.

4th. Now he will reward you with a gas mask, use it, cause you will have to fight farrel. Go fight farrel!! YAY, but dont solo it at lvl 20.

5th. Find ANOTHER decent party, recommended one lvl 25+ above. Your main job is strike and run when at farrel, but not so fast, hunt 5 keys.

Fire, Water, Wood, Iron, and Earth.

6th. Go to his maze, and go to different rooms to kill the mini boss to get the keys.

7th. Give leader all the keys, go in to the boss.

8th. Kill Farrel, and you are done.

Note that farrel have 2 attacks, rush attack, and hulk smash. When he rush, his feet will start to act up and blast you off in a range when he charge.
Hulksmash... He jumps up and smash into an aoe, lethal to newbies at early 20s.

================================================== =======
1.2b How to be a hunter? (New style)
================================================== =======

1st. You gotta talk to your job instructor for hunting 20 hunter scroll.

2nd. After getting it, go back and talk to him.

3rd. He will instruct you to find White Tooth/ Capt. Hookah F2 and devastate him.

4th. Return, and kill him again at F4.

5th. Change job. The hero quest related to Hookah is no longer available at lvl 19, but after job change, in some process.

================================================== =======
2.1 Short allocation of an archer-hunter skill build
================================================== =======

Before having to become a hunter, you must use your skill reset given by your gift box (lvl 15), use at level 19

Rising shot level 3 (Do not listen to people saying level 1, at late levels, you can use lvl 1 rising shot if you want, but for now, you need at level 3, trust me, level 1 is okay, but can make your life harder)

Anti-air shot level 5

Shootdown level 1

Multishot level 5

Rapid Step level 5

Relaunch is optional, but if you want, add it to level 1 only. In PvP, you are EXPECTED to have relaunch, in PvE, forget it.

================================================== =======
2.2 Hunter skills
================================================== =======

Quote:
Advanced Bow Mastery Level 0/5

Increase your bow damage further.

Do not add this skill, because ABM adds the total damage FROM your base total damage. I.E You have 500 damage (total), 100 is base damage and 400 is from bow dmg. Level 5 gives 20% dmg. 20% of 100 is 20, total is 120. Do not add this unless you have a crapload of strength (which you won't, trust me)

Bleed Level 0/5 or 1/5

Throws a book and inflict Bleed status to foes

Add this to level 1 if you are going to PvP or having too much skill point. In PvE, you can use, but optional. This skill is needed for the important 2nd job skill - Acid Arrow, until level 40+.

Acid Arrow Level 0/5 or 1/5 or 2/5 or 3/5

Shoots an arrow imbued with lethal poison to foes

This may be a joke, why you have 4 sections?

Level 0 - You don't use this skill at all, because you don't need it due to its crappy AoE and poor damage, why use then?
Level 1 - Used for decreasing foe's def in PvE, and having an additional skill to use.
Level 2 - Pre-requite for Netbind
Level 3 - Able to hit ground foes.

For me, I will learn to level 2 at least. Firstly, for netbind usefulness in PvP, and able to hit and run in PvP if you are well-versed in mindgames (I have mastered half of it, boasts)

Sharpshoot Level 0/5

Snipes with charge time for a lethal damage to foes.

Crappy skill with long charge time and the charge time is twice as long for multishot. Just don't learn.

Credits to ImNotGakupo in IAHGames Dragonica Forum for the picture

Netbind level 0/5 or 5/5

Shoots a web and ensnare foe.

Ok... This skill is used in PvP only. So if you are in PvE type, Don't Learn It. This skill have a short AoE and is incredibly hard to use, but if you know the tricks, it will be easy. It will be explained somehow later below.

Disruption Web level 0/5 or 1/5

Upgrade netbind to contain poison

This skill is optional if you learn netbind. But poison is good alongside with bleed and acid arrow at early level, a whooping 48 dmg per sec for about 5sec, which can kill a low hp person who is running around like a mindless freak.

Arrow Shower level 2/5 or 5/5

Shoots a fluffy of arrow into the skies and divulge foe's torment when it strikes down.

This skill, learn 2/5 in PvP and 5/5 in PvE. Used for stunning foes in PvP, and a skill to clear monster with stunning delay in PvE. Nothing much to say around here. It's an autolock skill, thats why it's great.

Rocket Launcher Level 3/5

Fire a rocket to the designated ground to annihilate foes to the skies

Learn 3/5 to fully show its potential at level 31. Level 1 and 2 does slight launch, which is not significant in PvE, but very significant in PvP. If foe jump, when blast, it will launch him up high. It's another autolock skill.

Wolf Rush Level 5/5

Summon the mighty roar of wolf, and rushes towards foes.

Our signature dish for a hunter, Wolf Rush. Max it no matter what happens. It can fully launch at level 5, and its another autolock skill.

Well, love my Vega + wolf combi? :d.love:

Bird Watching Level 5/5

Enhance yourself with the mighty chicken's strength.

This is our active buff skill. It gives dmg, str and agi. Do not belittle its power, at level1, it beats bow mastery already. Max no matter what happens.

Hallucination level 5/5

Turns translucent to increase evade rate.

Another active buff skill. It render us semi-immunity for 15sec if used well. It adds 250% evade rate at maximum level, which is alot if you know how to use in PvP, charge if you are confident enough. But the cooldown? 60secs.

Mesmerize level 0/5 or 5/5

Reflect damage back to foe if he hits you in a certain chance when using hallucination.

Do not add this at all, unless you are going to be a vit type hunter (VERY RARE). A vit type hunter equip vit and hp items, and drops his evade to lowest, to let foe hit and reflect dmg back of 20% at max level. But frankly, it isn't worth it.

================================================== =======
2.3 Hunter build (PvE)
================================================== =======

Level 20 - Bird Watching level 1
Level 21 - Arrow Shower level 1
Level 22 - Save skill point
Level 23 - Hallucination level 1
Level 24 - Arrow Shower level 2 ; Bird Watching level 2
Level 25 - Rocket Launcher level 1
Level 26 - Hallucination level 2
Level 27 - Wolf Rush level 1 ; Arrow Shower level 3
Level 28 - Rocket Launcher level 2 ; Bird Watching level 3
Level 29 - Hallucination level 3
Level 30 - Arrow Shower level 4 ; Wolf Rush level 2
Level 31 - Rocket Launcher level 3
Level 32 - Bird Watching level 4 ; Hallucination level 4
Level 33 - Arrow Shower level 5 ; Wolf Rush level 3
Level 34 - Save skill point
Level 35 - Hallucination level 5
Level 36 - Bird Watching level 5 ; Wolf Rush level 4
Level 37 - Save skill point
Level 38 - Save skill point
Level 39 - Wolf Rush level 5
Level 40 - Save skill point for Trapper (75SP if you followed, 65SP if you add relaunch)

================================================== =======
2.4 Hunter build (PvP)
================================================== =======
NOTE : This does not include Relaunch, if you need relaunch, go get it, you will be short of SP at level

Level 20 - Bleed level 1 ; Bird Watching level 1
Level 21 - Arrow Shower level 1
Level 22 - Acid Arrow level 1
Level 23 - Hallucination level 1
Level 24 - Bird Watching level 2 ; Arrow Shower level 2
Level 25 - Rocket Launcher level 1 ; Acid Arrow level 2
Level 26 - Netbind level 1 ; Hallucination level 2
Level 27 - Wolf rush level 1 ; Disruption web level 1
Level 28 - Acid Arrow level 3
Level 29 - Rocket Launcher level 2
Level 30 - Wolf Rush level 2
Level 31 - Rocket Launcher level 3
Level 32 - Hallucination level 3 ; Bird Watching level 3
Level 33 - Wolf Rush level 3
Level 34 - Netbind level 3 (level 1 to 3)
Level 35 - Bird Watching level 4
Level 36 - Wolf Rush level 4
Level 37 - Hallucination level 4
Level 38 - Bird Watching level 5 ; Hallucination level 5
Level 39 - Wolf Rush level 5
Level 40 - Save skill point

Netbind as level 3 is enough, 4 sec stuck is sufficient than 6 sec, although 6 sec is better, due to the lack of skill point, save at level 40. Can take out disruption web and acid arrow to level 2 (25 SP saved). Equals to 45SP when level 40 if follow this paragraph.

Or if you want to learn netbind to level 5, its better if you are advancing to trapper, due to the fact we can use a short or infinite stunlock if luck is on our side. Netbind > 5th second then Freeze trap on foe (if successful) > Netbind as the cooldown finishes > Bounce Trap at the 5th second > AAS > Arrow Shower > Repeat process

================================================== =======
2.5 Combo-ing and Tactics
================================================== =======

Normal standard combo that everyone should know.

1st combo : Arrow Shower + Wolf Rush = 13 hits of miniature stun with fall, use it for unlaunchable enemies
2nd combo : Launch with AAS-ing > shootdown at point blank and AAS again > Relaunch and AAS again > repeat shootdown and continue.
3rd combo : Arrow Shower > Netbind when they got stunned > Multishot at behind > Acid Arrow + Book > Rising shot/Rocket Launcher > AAS till death.

Ok, for PvP. You have to practice more for yourself. Engage in 1v1-ing with a caliber of your skills. Do not use normal launch and play mindlessly.

There are 2 types of tactic that you can use, Offensive or Defensive.

Offensive in PvP, is to engage in your foe with more brawns than brains. You have to forecast the job's and the user's weakness before engaging, otherwise the foe would just counterstrike. Proceed with caution.

You will have to use these following style. Use acid arrow and book to stun him temporarily, then proceed to launch and AAS. Of course, if you are fighting in team, do not ever persist on killing if the other few/one foe try to lock you or burst your health. Get out when you spot some foe, that will means a win-win situation for health.

Defensive in PvP, when your foe are too strong or you are outnumbered (your teammate leaves or die), you will use this 3 skills primarily - Wolf Rush, Multishot, and Acid Arrow. When you are outnumbered, the foe will chase you and try to devour you. You must take precaution and try to run away from them by dashing. Cast multishot always when you are far from them, there may be a chance they may follow your trap, and deal some damage. Continue it. If the foe is too close and he may use a range attack to strike, use wolf rush at the right time (Autolock remember? You gotta wait him to step to ground and strike and run). You can use acid arrow to stop his dash naturally. Wolf and Acid are instantaneous.

You should practice your mind skills more, focus on defensive or offensive when you know the right time, the right foe.

PvP Allies
Knight - When they stunlock, do not ever launch them, sure, acid them, multishot them anything, but never launch them, because all their skill are ground based, and you can disrupt their combo.

Gladiators - Always let them go first, due to having thick armor and hp. They cannot chain lock, so whatever they launch, you gotta AAS them, because storm blade is the combo only to keep them occupied. Of course, they have stumblebum, pick one weak foe from it if he stuns and kill him.

Hunters - Keep using autolock skills like arrow shower to double stun an enemy, and launch and AAS together.

Rangers - Pair well together by yourself using autolock skills, then let the ranger either go first to gatling to immobilize any enemy and launch them up to AAS together. Archers are like that usually.

Assassins - They have daggers and swift attack, try yourself to lure foes away and let the assassin swift attack as a start with cloak, then quickly ambush them with autolock skills while assassin helps you to Aerial Frenzy the launched foe when you launch them, to keep the combo going before foe comes, then escape and sin proceeds to dagger as usual.

Jesters - Your not-so-good friends in terms of comboing, but they have an autolock, don't launch any foe when they use final decision and rolling stinger. If any jester uses Upper screwdriver, then proceed to AAS. When they stunlock someone, use netbind +multishot combo to deal more damage and have more chance to stop them from running.

Battlemages - They are weak in hp and defense, you should let them cast blizzard and ball lightning combo, if it hits someone, dont launch them, instead net them if you can, otherwise use multishot to inflict them. You launch, they fall, they roll and escape from that combo most likely. When they freeze someone, just spam whatever you got, even launch (but you can't launch them)

Acolyte - Same as battlemages style, when aco use freezer, spam whatever you got. BUT, if they use witch's curse to frog them, never ever hit, it will dispel the frog effect. They can support you with healing too. Acolyte are the best support class in PvP.

PvP Foes

Knights - NEVER go close to them, otherwise they will be a beast to you, and stunlock like no tomorrow. They have impervion, which TRY to avoid when they cast it, you will never launch them. Last 10 sec for level 1, 14 sec for level 2, and so on, their cooldown is 2x of their duration, make use of that. Revenge, beware for their reflect. They are not as beastly for teams.
Foe difficulty : 4.5/5 in 1v1, 3/5 in team

Gladiators - Well, they are beast too in 1v1, if they know how to use, sure they can't chain, but they unleash a seriously painful combo which only few knows (Ask Resenda for that if you want anyway). In team, they can be a good supporter by having autolock skills and storm blade for keeping AAS-ing matters, if there is an archer, just wait for your death if there is a glad + hunter team, unless you are a pro and you can counter it.
Foe difficulty : 3.5/5 in 1v1, 3.5/5 in team

Rangers - Easy peasy guys in 1v1, but watch out for their gatling rush, because after it they will launch you and merry goes round with their homing missile. Nothing to say much here. Watch out in team, where they whip out their gatling rush against your teammate, dont hope too much.
Foe difficulty : 2.5/5 in 1v1, 3.5/5 in team

Hunters - Your mirrorself, what will you do? When they hallucination, you run. When they use autolock skill, use that at them too instead of running. You have to learn your foe's weakness for this. In team, they are considered deadly if used properly.
Foe difficulty : 4/5 in 1v1, 4/5 in team

Assassins - Your nemesis, they cloak and burrow, they swift attack you, dagger you and rocket punch you outta nowhere. They can be deadly in 1v1, although no chains, but their dagger hurts every 2sec, and worse still, they are autolockable. Don't arrow shower, they will throw a dagger most likely. Instead, wolf rush them or acid them, then relaunch or shootdown to shoot a low relaunch. tl;dr : don't get too close to them. In team, they aren't that good unfortunately. Waste their MP if you cannot take them on.
Foe difficulty : 4/5 in 1v1, 3/5 in team

Jesters - Well, not really your nemesis, but they can rocket punch and create a lock. Just don't get too close to them, and all will be fine, except evade for rocket punch. In team, they pack a punch.
Foe difficulty : 3/5 in 1v1, 4/5 in team

Battlemages - Annoying. As. Ever. even in 1v1. Beware of their bliz bl combo. Hard to estimate that. In team, they possess a deadly devour of that combo + healing slow heals to teammates... Kill them asap if you can, otherwise, waste their mana with mana shield, making them useless.
Foe difficulty : 3.5/5 in 1v1, 4/5 in team

Acolytes - Annoying. As. Ever. More worse than battlemages, they get support, they get omg speed for diffusion cannon, they get lol much heals, and many more. In 1v1, just do not hesitate to take them off asap, otherwise it will get worse when your mp is draining while their stays the same. In team, ALWAYS down them first, because of their annoying heals. Trust me on this. Beware for their frog curse and freezer.
Foe difficulty : 4/5 in 1v1, 4/5 in team

================================================== =======
1.1 What are trappers?
================================================== =======

Using my own terms in IAHGame's 3rd job - Trapper

Quote:
Trappers are masters in archery who tries to control animals and tame them like falcons, they set traps to ensnare animals to annihilate those wildlife dangerous freaks who may be harmful in any forms, to gain treasures like their fur for it.
In THQ*ICE and gpotato, they used the term - Pathfinder for 3rd job. Using my own term

Quote:
Pathfinders are explorers who are keen to divulge new things around their surroundings, with expertise on animals and bows to fend for themselves in an unknown world.

================================================== =======
1.2 How to change to 3rd Job? (TRAPPER)
================================================== =======

Quote:
1. Finish hero quest segment till Farrel's Diary at level 32. From there, you must talk to Pablo after finishing the quest to get the pre-3rd job quest, which is ' Fight to the death against Drakes!'

2. Invite people who can kill Lavalon to party, it isn't easy to solo. Before that, go to Vaild Raeth's top part of the map.

3. Finish the room quest, blah blah (go search on Strategy's forum for guide)

4. Kill Lavalon by killing mob that drops mana bullet, charge it and stun him. Only stunning him can deal damage to him, otherwise no. After Patch 1.0.1 from IAH's server, You need 2 mana bullets to initiate a charge.

5. After killing, talk to Pablo to complete quest. Now, go to Smoldering Swamp and achieve 200 combos (its easy as pie, dont worry), go back, change job, and done!

Actually, same as ballista, Ctrl-V does the job.

================================================== =======
2.1 Skill Description
================================================== =======

Quote:

Pierce Level 1/5

Penetrate arrows to hit foes by normal attack.

For this, you do not need level 5, level 1 is sufficient. You will be using most of your skills instead of pierce, and at higher level, mob will not be easily stacked. It is used for clearing weaker mob at a go. Doesn't have much impact if you max, but it will be useless somehow.

Aiming Level 5/5

Increase your focus, thus boosting up your accuracy for a limited amount of time.

At level 5, it adds 30 BASE accuracy instead of the percentage. This may not seem good to you, but at least it add something. I mean, at higher levels, like going to Chaos Elluman, you gotta need 200 ACC to hit them, 30 base accuracy is going to help a lot here. Besides, you will have a mastery later on.

Weakness Detection Level 5/5

Improve Aiming to obtain additional accuracy, and critical rate.

Must. Max. This. This is a skill that enables yourself to get additional accuracy, 15 to be exact at level 5. Also, adds 15 BASE critical rate. Means you get to hit 1/6 of the time with critical. How envious of you, ballista's have only 3 base critical rate at level 5.

Falcon Frenzy Level 5/5

Engages a falcon to bombard a large AoE to launch foe up.

Another autolock skill. You should max this for damage, and launch. Good for range, like wolf rush, but it may be hard to use sometimes from hearsay. At level 3, it launches fallen foes and at level 5, it launches foes to the peak. It is worse than its buddy Blitz, as it have a 10sec cd while blitz have 4sec.

Credits to ImNotGakupo in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Blitz Level 3/5 or 5/5

From the summoning of the falcon, devastate an AoE with massive damage.

Another autolock skill. Damage foe and launch them to air. At level 3, launches at peak with FALLEN foes. Better damage than Falcon Frenzy, and faster arrival of falcon, though have lesser AoE. The better buddy for the falcon skills.

Credits to ImNotGakupo in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Falcon Mastery Level 5/5

Increase potential for falcon, by improving its damage.

All masteries are good, except perhaps for base damage things like Advance Bow Mastery and Advance Sword Mastery. The damage is increased by the LAST hit of falcon, each falcon deals 3 times, the last hit gets increased damage only,I believe.

Claymore Level 1/5 [PvP]

Create a bomb trap that implodes after 10sec or by denotation.

Have a cast time, more damage than falcon, but it is very hard to use in PvE, in PvP too. Have cast delay etc. Don't learn this skill. If you are PvPing, learn level 1 for pre-requite for other skills. Although it have 1 second cooldown, but the cast time and inaccessibility to use it to its fullest potential foiled it.

Credits to vee4Phoenix in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Denotation Level 0/1 or 1/1 [Both PvP]

Press a switch, and explode all claymore that are casted by you.

Another useless skill. Due to only destroying claymore and not other traps. May be a pre-requite for Untouchable.

Bounce Trap Level 1/5 [PvP]

Sets up a trap that bounce foe up upon contact. Visible to foes

From what vee4Phoenix had said, bounce trap does launch foe into air, and block their aerial recovery, it can be a nice skill to use somehow. But still, nobody is going to be so dumb to walk into it, unless in a chaos.

Credits to vee4Phoenix in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Splash Trap Level 1/5 or 3/5 [PvP]

Sets up a trap and explode foes when in contact.

Useless skill again. Shouldn't go through it again, nobody cares about it, damage it, no effect. Pure useless. In PvE, you need to cast it. Can learn level 3 for Untouchable.

Credits to vee4Phoenix in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Freeze Trap 5/5 if possible

Sets up a trap and freeze foe upon contact.

May be a useless skill, but in chaotic situation, when foe step, they may have a chance to get freeze. Then, fire all you can before they get unfreezed. 60% chance + 5 % per level, with a duration of 2.4 sec + 0.2sec per level. After freeze and almost up, cast netbind to stack immobility.

Credits to vee4Phoenix in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Silence Trap Level 5/5 if possible, otherwise as high as possible

Sets a trap and mute (Disable skills) foes upon contact.

May be a useless skill like freeze trap, but like in chaotic situations, cast and someone walk, they cannot cast skill for a certain period of time. 60% + 10% per level for silence, at level 5 confirmed silence, while 7sec + 2 sec per level for duration.

Credits to vee4Phoenix in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for picture

Untouchable Level 0/1 or 1/1

Turns yourself a kettle head, and try to kamikaze foes with damage, but you suffer majorly after using it.

This is an interesting skill. You can run with your helmet activated (Option), then charge to foe ASAP when you know the timing, but people will hear the 'Tick tock' sound from it, so they will run from you. But fret not, if you up Rapid step and have movement speed, kudos to you, they cannot run away. After dealing massive damage if hit, you will be left with 1 hp and gains 200% MSPD for a short period of time.

Level 56 - Falcon Mastery level 4
Level 57 - Weakness Detection level 5
Level 58 - (Save skill point)
Level 59 - (Save skill point)
Level 60 - Falcon Mastery level 5

You can max Blitz if you want, actually. Pardon me for a not-so-good guide because I estimate this with my knowledge of Trappers in the forum.

For PvP, there are many variations of it. You should plan for yourself. As a Trapper, you don't need Acid arrow and Bleed anymore actually, but Netbind remains a useful skill somehow.

================================================== =======
3.1 FAQ
================================================== =======

Q1 and Q2 is a mistake that I wrote wrong in my guide, and Xallista and FMLife corrected in someways

Q1 : On these 3 skills : Wolf Rush ; Falcon Frenzy and Blitz, compare their range and AoE
A1 : Wolf Rush have more range than Falcon Frenzy. Blitz have more AoE than Falcon Frenzy. Somehow like that. (From FMLife)

Q2 : On these 3 skills : Wolf Rush ; Falcon Frenzy and Blitz, compare their damage
A1 : damage order, from highest to lowest:
Blitz -> Falcon Frenzy -> Wolf Rush (From Xallista)

This guide is in Alpha phase, may be untrue for some of it.

3.1 FAQs
================================================== =======
1.1. What is a ranger?
================================================== =======

Probably you may think of maplestory, where ranger is a fire-elemental bow wielder, etc. However, in this game, Rangers are..

Quote:
Part of an elite Special Ops force, speedy and disciplined Rangers easily top the chart for highest attack-rate in Dragonica. Having survived the harsh training required for entry into the force, they have become masters of military tactics and elevate the common crossbow into a weapon of mass destruction.
Yes, quoted in the DGN's homepage. Summarizing it : Ranger are high-tech people who uses crossbow to deal great outburst damage at a single go with their skills. They are quite modernize in their skill, using tanks as support.

However, that comes with a price, long cooldown. Make sure you can wait for the cooldown, cause it will be so LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG, ya really.

Ranger are designed to be more of PvP type, but they can be also PvE faced type.

================================================== =======
1.2a How to be a ranger? (Old style)
================================================== =======

1st. Talk to your bow instructor (Located near the soul craft NPC, or in bearings, 245 degree.)

2nd. Hunt 20 ranger scrolls from monster at bearded whale beach.

================================================== =======
1.2b How to be a ranger? (New style)
================================================== =======

1st. You gotta talk to your job instructor for hunting 20 ranger scroll.

================================================== =======
2.1. Short skill allocation of an archer-ranger build (at level 20)
================================================== =======

Rising shot lvl 4
Anti-Air shot lvl 5
Shootdown lvl 1
Bow Mastery lvl 5

You will need lots of skill point later on, trust me, at late 30s. Due to the fact that Autoshot System have the most skill point for a 5 level skill (Exclude Untouchable for trappers for having 60SP)

================================================== =======
2.2 Ranger Skills
================================================== =======

Quote:
High Explosive Grenades (H.E. Grenades) Level 5/5

Toss 1/1/2/2/3 grenades made of gunpowder to devastate a number of foes.

You should max this even though of the mana cost disadvantage and the pathetic amount of AoE. It deals roaring damage compared to most of our skills, except Gatling Rush. To several foes, you can demolish them without trouble if they stack together and terminate their rampage.

At level 5, throws 3 grenade to 7 fallen or standing monsters.

Composite 4 Level 1/5 or 5/5

Increase gunpowder's effectiveness in grenades by harnessing it's potential, increasing damage.

You can add this to maximum level, of 22% dmg per grenade, which is a whooping 66% dmg for 3 grenade. Alternatively, you can add this to level 1, which adds 30% dmg for 3 grenades. You wouldn't want to spend 36% additional damage with 60SP, would you? Make your choice.

At level 5, it adds 22% + 180 damage PER grenade. A.K.A 66% + 540.

Crux Shot Level 1/5

Increase damage for next skill.

Useless as it seemed. The Gatling + Crux shot rumor is FAKE, it does not add all shots of gatling rush for the damage, thus it is useless. It affects only the 1st shot of any skill that does not replicate (Replicatable skills - Wolf Rush, like hitting 5 times of the same damage)

At level 5, it adds 20% additional damage to the very first damage of a skill.

Random Shot Level 1/5

Shooting continuously with delay for 2 arrow at 2 fast goes.

Do not ever max this, leave level 1 for gatling. Due to its shooting delay and uselessness, as above, don't max it.

At level 5, shoot 2 continuous time of 30% + 250 additional damage.

Gatling Rush Level 5/5

Fire at a brazen speed with a machine gun to a wide array of foes.

Max this ASAP, this will come first no matter what happens. Shoot 11 times to 6/7/8/9/10 foes at a go with 10sec cooldown. Damage is superb by 130% damage per shot, with the duration lasting a second. Wide AoE. The best second job skill ever made, 1st ranked.

At level 5, shoots 11 bullets to 10 standing or fallen foes within a split second of a damage of 35% + 300 per bullet.

Homing Missile 1/5 or 3/5

Bounce launched foe with damage.

Shoots a missile from a rocket launcher directly above yourself, to strike 2/4/6/8/10 foes up to the skies (must be launched). Thus, they will bounce back a little bit, and continue a chain of AAS. Level 3 launches a little higher, though not significant.

At level 5, shoot 10 aerial-ed foes and bounce back a little.

RPG-7 5/5

Fires a rocket to ground foes and launch them to the skies.

You should max this, because its our only alternative launcher from our whole lives, even our future job - Ballista. Hits fallen foe at level 3, and fully launch them at level 5. At level 1 and 2, its a damaging skill, at level 3 and 4, fire at point blank to AAS a few times.

At level 5, shoots a rpg7 to 7 standing or fallen foes to the maximum peak.

Acceleration Tuning 0/5 or 1/5 (beautifying skill tree)

Increase damage of RPG7 and Homing Missile

As above. Do not learn because it is far from significant. RPG7 for launching, we don't need damage, and homing missile is to blast foe up. You can learn level 1 for increase damage a little.

At level 5, increases 13% + 200 damage for RPG7 and Homing only.

Autoshot System 5/5

Summon an immobile tank to assist you in fighting.

Max this even though the SP disadvantage (35 SP), because it is used for monster control when there is a horde of it. Also, it can be used for boss fighting. Last approximate 21sec when maxed, and blast 350% damage per second to 3 foes, with a 49 second cooldown.

At level 5, last for 21 sec with a 350% DPS at a wide range to 3 foes.

Aerial Fluffy 0/5 or 1/5 or 5/5

Stay airborne and fire a fluffy of arrows to foe, one at a few goes.

You can max it if you are an evasive user, to stay airborne most of the time in boss battle. Alternatively, you can don't learn it if you are concentrating at damage.

At level 5, shoots 5 consecutive times of arrows.

================================================== =======
2.3 My ranger build to be at level 40
================================================== =======

If you planned to have my build for archer, at level 40, your skill point would be 780 - 210 = 570

For 570 skill points...

H.E grenade Lvl 5
Composite 4 lvl 1
Crux Shot lvl 1
Random shot lvl 1
Gatling Rush lvl 5
Homing Missle lvl 1
Acceleration Tuning lvl 1
RPG-7 lvl 5
Autoshot system lvl 5

If you followed my archer and ranger's one, you should probably have 50 spare points, up to you to save for ballista (it sucks) or up other skills (rapid step;aerial fluffy). It's your choice.

Level 2 Level Guide

summary : Get gatling rush asap,must get it at lvl 23, then try to focus on rpg7, H.E grenade, and ASS + Gatling rush.

Quote:
Level 20 : Crux Shot LvL 1 + Homing missle LvL 1 (SP left : 160)
Level 21 : Random Shot LvL 1
Level 22 : RPG7 LvL 1
Level 23 : Gatling Rush LvL 1 + H.E grenade LvL 1
Level 24 : Autoshot System LvL 1 + Acceleration Tuning LvL 1
Level 25 : Composite 4 LvL 1 + RPG7 LvL 2 (SP left : 95)
Level 26 : H.E grenade LvL 2
Level 27 : Gatling Rush LvL 2
Level 28 : RPG7 LvL 3 + Autoshot system LvL 2
Level 29 : H.E grenade LvL 3
Level 30 : *save skill point*
Level 31 : Gatling Rush lvl 3 + RPG7 lvl 4
Level 32 : Autoshot system LvL 3 + H.E grenade lvl 4 (SP left : 35)
Level 33 : *save*
Level 34 : RPG7 LvL 5
Level 35 : Gatling Rush LvL 4 + H.E grenade lvl 5
Level 36 : Autoshot system lvl 4
Level 37 : *save*
Level 38 : *save*
Level 39 : Gatling Rush LvL 5
Level 40 : Autoshot system LvL 5 (SP left : 50)
You may utilise your skill points for lvl 40. If you wish to change little stuff, then go ahead (Aerial fluffy, you can add that anytime you want, but it will screw my build if you want to add it to level 4, 3's the maximum, 45sp eaten = 5sp left)

Complete. Actually, this guide from me is somehow planned after knowing some stuff that I dont know, I apologise for that.

Note: Try to keep the skill point for 3rd job, if you want. You will still need some sp for the future job

================================================== =======
2.4 Combo-ing
================================================== =======

You probably think ranger's combo is only rising shot + aas, but there are more combos, though most are related to rising shot + aas

1st combo - For killing few monster instantly (Provided all monster stack)
H.E grenade - > Gatling Rush to eliminate target

2nd combo - Launching more enemies in a short time and strike with AAS
RPG7 -> Rising shot quickly to foes -> AAS/Homing missle then AAS

3rd combo - Short relaunch (temp. relaunch if rising/rpg is in cooldown)
Shootdown at point blank -> AAS/Homing then AAS

================================================== =======
3.1 FAQ(s) may be commonly asked
================================================== =======

Q: Why don't we max rising shot?
A: There is a lesser chance of probability of hitting 6 foes in a row (though RPG7 is required to be maxed for launching effect, as level 4 is just slightly send foe into air, very low). At level 4, the height is at maximum peak, so you can strike more AAS onto a foe.

Q: What is ASS and AAS?
A: ASS (Autoshot system) ; AAS (Anti-aishot). Their name is confusing sometime though.

Q: Bow Mastery.. Hmm.. I feel its useless at high levels, my weapon can uber pwnz0r em.
A: Go ahead, save your skill points, personally i feel its a waste of skill point at higher level, but since we have nothing to add, why not?

Q: Multishot, many people recommend them, why dont you?
A: Cast time, pause you for a second. Monster hit you you get interrupted. Damage alot to boss, but SP is too much for my build, 100 is quite alot. H.E grenade can substitute as this, although it eats a higher mana and more cooldown.

Q: Your guide have some mistakes, i feel this and that.
A: Please pinpoint out, if there is a flaw in description, then i will try to change it.

================================================== =======
1a. What ARE ballistas?
================================================== =======

Ballistas are professionalist which can utilize their crossbow and fixed it into a position which they can shoot and snipe with more accuracy and damage, in terms of the meaning. (Not true actually, frankly with their broken 3rd job skills)

Using the term - Grenadier

Grenadiers are people who throw grenades to nearby foe, dealing large output damage and cause several effects depending the type of grenade.

Using the term - sniper

Snipers are people who can snipe foes well for great damage, but low speed (high cooldown) at far range.[/QUOTE]

Skill Build to be at lvl 60 (IF YOU followed my first post, and if you decided to save that 50 sp [MAY NOT BE ACCURATE]

================================================== =======
1b. How to change to 3rd Job? (BALLISTA)
================================================== =======

Quote:

================================================== =======
2a. Skill Description
================================================== =======

Quote:
Focus Level 1/5 or 5/5 -

Increase critical rate of 1%/1.5%/2%/2.5%/3%. Base critical rate

After a few people's research about this skill, focus's critical rate is BASE critical rate, which adds a solid 3 to your total critical rate. Max it if you are a critical damage user, level 1 if you don't really focus on critical. Up to your decision

Flashbang Level 1/5 or 5/5 (PvP) -

Blinds foe and render him immobile. In PvP, foe screen is blinded with whiteness.

You are not a pvp-er, so keep away from this, besides if you miss the boss, and you decide to throw this, good luck to you, you should know boss cannot be affected by status ailment. In PvP side, it is a good skill, because it will make the person blind (Screen turns white, and character is unable to move, immobile), however, the AoE radius is still poor.

Caused Bomber Level 1/5 or 5/5 -

Decrease Def and Mdef of foes.

IIRC, cooldown is 5sec, and have same damage as fire grenade, blast this to foes, reduce their def, and strike the horde of mobs with gatling rush, potential combo, quick kill (If you leave mobs in tatters with gatling rush, throw this to reduce def and end their puny lives). However, the grenade is poor at AoE, gather in a spot and then throw, otherwise you are going to hit one.

Fire grenade Level 2/5 -

Burns foe with low damage per second, and decrease total max MP from foe in PvP

Pre-requisite for Carpet Bombing, nothing more to say. Fire grenade, have a long cast time, pathetic damage and of course, the AoE... erm... is better, since it is like Arrow Shower's AoE, frankly speaking. It's the only grenade which have a wide AoE, but don't learn because of its cast time and 10sec cooldown.

Carpet Bombing Level 5/5 -

Call in airstrike, and devastate a large area with bombs to launch foe up

Camo + this makes a good sneak attack on foes, since camo from hearing people saying camo, when cast skill, 1sec it will cloak before it vanishes. This skill needs charge time, so camo and then cast this, to arouse mobs and bang! In PvP, it is a scare tactic when you are in camo mode. People will think you are trying to use Carpet Bombing, and run away. As I'm not a PvP player, I cannot give you hint how to make them fall into your trick.

Additional lining Level 1/1 -

Adds another line for carpet bombing (Refer below)

Adds 1 more line to your carpet bombing. For carpet bombing, you only could blast 1 line with 6 bombs, with this, you can blast 2 lines with 12 bombs, it is just an AoE improving skill.

Eg. (X - Bomb, O - You)
XOXXXXX - Without Additional Lining

XXXXXX
O
XXXXXX

Autoshot System Upgrade Level 5/5 -

Increase Autoshot System's power.

Useful tool. Increases damage by a lot. However, like in the description wrote that it increases the tank's ASPD, but in reality, it don't. Learn it, because it is the few skills for ballista which is useful.

Vulcan 300 Level 0/5 -

Summons a tripod looking cannon splitter to devastate foes linearly.

Ballista's top skill, ever. Have long cooldown, laughable damage, a support structure, and eats 20sp for this.

Credits to NobleRoar in IAHGame's Dragonica Forum for providing me with this picture.

Camouflage Level 1/5 -

Turns yourself translucent, but to others, transparent (invisible)

Not a pvp user? Dont max it, since I have some extra sp, so add this to level 1. Minimum must add it to at least level 1 for adrenaline. Good skill with Carpet bombing. Camouflage is essential in PvP, a good PvP user can allure his foes and spring an surprise attack on him.

Adrenaline Level 0/5 or 5/5 -

Increase Attack Speed

Lessen skill frame and your movement cast delay. Nice skill to add if you have guild buff + wt hat, 10% with guild buff only make me feel faster, what could there be if there is 75%? (35% from this + 10% love and +10% guild + 20% whitetooth hat).

Atropine Level 0/1 or 1/1 -

Curing poisons

Learn this skill for fun, at least for me.
Frankly speaking, from hearsay, Atropine does not cure Boss poison (Like Sambaba's Poison breath), but cures only normal kind of poison.

2c. Compare and Contrast
================================================== =======

Quote:
Critical Damage and Critical Rate, which will you choose?

We do not know our base critical rate, name critical rate as 'B'. Formula for critical rate is

B x (100% + critical rate items)
Example, you have 10% critical rate from your equipments, therefore B x (100% + 10%) = B x 110% = 1.1B, conversion rate of 1% for base critical rate = 0.01B. Let say your base critical rate is 1, means every 100 shot, you deal 1 critical shot. Increase 10% critical rate, = Base x (100% + 10%) = 1.1B = 1.1 critical shot. The increase is not much, but if you have a natural high critical rate, then you may consider about this

Whereas Critical Damage deals 2 times more than a normal damage. Formula for critical damage is

2x Norm. Attack X (100% + other critical dmg items)
For example, you have 50% critical damage from your weapon, and your base damage is 1000, you will be dealing a critical, meaning 2x normal attack to 2k, however that is not the case, with additional 50% critical damage, you will go 2x norm. attack x (150%) = 3x norm. attack for a critical.

Due to the fact that critical rate occurs lesser for ballista, around 1/10 per critical at level 50, and the formula for critical rate is not that good if you see, critical damage is more preferred as ballista are known to deal burst damage.

Go for full set or full chaos set? (2:2:2 or 4:2 is opted out here, because the stat gain isn't that good)

If you are a PvE type of person, you may consider to choose full set instead of full chaos set. Due to the critical damage for having full set, and with weapon and back stack, ballistas are able to dish out perfect damage for critical hits if you stack critical damage.

If you are a PvP type. You can choose full chaos set or any other combination you think of. As full chaos set provides ACC and evade which is vital for pvp-ing, you may hit better to some high evade jobs and people hitting lesser to you due to having a higher evade.

3a. FAQ(s)
================================================== =======

Q1 : Why did you mention Vulcan 300 is a crap skill.
A1 : Cooldown : 120sec. 6 shots for 3sec. DMG 120% at max level. Total damage dealt : 720% dmg at 3 foes for 3sec for 120sec cooldown. Get it?

Q2 : Why no fire grenade?
A2 : Sure it does damage to more foe, but the status ailment suck, and it truly suck, even at PvP

Q3 : Which grenade for the skill tree is better?
A3 : Personally, all the 3 grenades have its own pros and cons, like Fire Grenade is the only one with wide AoE, but useless because of its pathetic damage, cooldown + Cast time. Also, caused bomber have a pathetic AoE, but nice status ailments, Flashbang is certainly useful in PvP. It is all lies within your choice.

More to come, if there is more question that i feel may come out, or asked

3b. Ballista Sound Repack
================================================== =======

Download my custom skill sounds HERE, if you dislike your skill sound for ranger and ballista, that may provide another alternative to hear different sounds.

Go to IAHGames > Dragonica > Sound > PC_Sound > Skills and replace the download file onto it. Backup if you deem.

If you dislike the new sounds, revert back to the old sound by downloading this file HERE.

Note : After noticing that every new patch will auto reinstall your replaced files, and put them into caps.

Solution to put back the repack :

Delete all the skills that we put in affected, like CARPETBOMBING, if it is being replaced, then replace it with the repack.

Training Spots

COMPLETE RED HERO QUESTS.

At level 1, you will be meeting your first boss in a mission map at North/South Windia Plains.

Quote:

Big Bad Wolf

Attacks:
Rushing - BBW will rush towards you and make you fall. Lethal to newbies.
Howling Hole - BBW will howl and suck you into his mouth. Lethal to newbies.

Grind spot? : No, complete F1 to F4 and Hero quest, then just go to Vega
At North/South Windia Plains
After that, you will be finding Vega, Silver's transformation done from a mysterious old man (Spoiler : Farrel)

Quote:

Vega

Attacks:
Rushing - Vega will rush like BBW, and make you fall.
Howling Hole - Vega will howl and suck you like BBW.

Grind spot? : Not really, like BBW, complete the hero quest then proceed to Tutu
At Windia Flats
When you saved Silver (I suppose, dont expect me to remember for lower levels), you will get to go to Tutu when you saved a guard. He is crazy for some reason as Orc and Human are friends in the past.

Quote:

Tutu

Attacks:
Rushing - Tutu will rush you and make you fall
Spinning Attack - Tutu will spin and charge to another place, you will fall if you get hit. Predictable by looking his axe when in a charge mode.
Axe attack - Tutu will swing a axe and slash you and return back forth. Can be predicted by seeing his twitch.

Grind spot : Yes, till about level 15 probably. You should come here at around level 10 to grind.
At West Traitor Ridge
So, saving Tutu, you will go to Toto where you need to transform and beat Tutu's brother.

Quote:

Toto

Attacks:
Rushing : Refer to Tutu
Spinning Attack (Mobile) : Like tutu, he does that too
Spinning Attack (Immobile) : This is the death pit. Always run when he show his axe movement (Can be either mobile or immobile). He will swing his axe for about 5sec, and slashing you.
Axe attack : Refer to Tutu

Grind spot? : Grind to about level 20-22, then go to white tooth
At East Traitor Ridge
You went to change job, beat White Tooth... and here are the statistic. Why would you kill a shark? He can create bombs and blow the whole Port.

Quote:

White Tooth

Attacks:
Poison strike : Shoots a poison bullet and inflict you poison
Web : Throws a web and stops you for 3 secs.
Normal Bullet : Shoot a bullet, damage you.
Heal : He will summon an aura and heal about 1%-10% of his hp.

Grind spot? : Yes, till about level 26
At Bearded Whale Coast
Then, you went to kick his girlfriend for that crime too.

Quote:

Alvida

Poison Strike : Refer to White Tooth
Web : Refer to white tooth
Normal Bullet : Refer to White Tooth
Starry Rains : summon an AoE to rain starries to damage you.
Heal : Refer to white tooth

Grind spot? : Yes, till about level 31
At Steven Trading Poty
Going on, you go to Artis to stop his chaotic act of disrupting dragonica world (I forgot that part), and to seal his soul.

Quote:

Artis

Attacks:
Homing Strike : Chase a magic orb thingy and damage you.
Stab : Take his sword and stab you
Earthshock : Strike the ground and deal damage.

Grind spot? :Yes, Till about level 38
At Miranae Sanctuary
Then, you stop night lord from awakening, and break his armor.

Quote:

Night Lord

Attacks:
Barrier : Increase Evade for him very high, and unlikely to hit him (Can hit, at a low chance)
Lightning Strike : Summon an AoE of lightning and blast, autolock skill.
Stab : Stab you.

Grind spot? : Erm, don't even consider about it. The map of his is too annoying to complete. Do for hero quest only.
At Skypie Sanctuary
You will have to go to a cavern and defeat some moles from disrupting for whatever sake of reason (Forgot).

Quote:

Bahamole

Skills:
Hand Slam : He will open his hand and slam you.
Imbalanced Freeze (BUG) : Unknown, but by hearsay, he will freeze you, infinity, and die.
Eruption : Summon his hand and strike a large aoe with burning lava.

Grind spot? : Optional, if you wish, to 38. Map is a little annoying, but completable.
At Casadenant Cavern
After that, you have to extract Farrel's key or what so ever from some fatty acid monster.

Quote:

Sambaba

Skill :
Poison Breath : He will summon his mouth and sneeze at you, poison you.
Body Slam : He will jump high up, and slam towards an AoE, will be shown.

Grind spot? : Yes, it will be your grind spot till late 40s. You will be seeing him at least a few hundred time (I'm not kidding).
At Valid Reath
Then, kill some bees who are stealing Libra's electrical supply.

Quote:

Queen Vella

Skill:

Barrier : Refer to Night Lord.
Homing Strike : Refer to Artis. Very painful , about 600 for a level 43.
Star Powder? : She will summon a powder with AoE which is slow and peaceful, but can be lethal if you stay there too long.

Grind spot ? : No, map too 'untidy'.
At Smouldering Swamp.
Then, you have to stop some berserk trees who are trying to stop and kill humans from destroying nature? Wdf?

Quote:
\
Elluman

Skill:

Freezer : He will summon some spikes and if you step on it, you will freeze for about 10+ sec. VERY LETHAL, avoid that at all cost.

Forgot skills about it already.

Grind spot? : Nope, way too random.
At Ocher Forest.
After these weird bees and trees, you have to eliminate the evil Kentar who is corrupted for some reason.

Quote:

Karous

Skill:

Barrier : He will summon a barrier like Queen Vella and Night Lord, plus evade for a few seconds.
Dash : Dash and make you fall.
Stalactite : He will summon a stalactite (4 usually), and this is very lethal (600 per spike, 4 spikes, 2400). It's slow, but autolockable.

Grind spot? : Optional, many chose to grind at chaos map instead.
At God's Sanctuary.
From there, you have to kill some owls before killing some raccoons. Why the owls first? They keep eating mimirs, predators?

Quote:

Bubo

Skills:
Screech : Autolock if you are in it. Scream a very wide AoE and hit if you are at it.
Fart : He will be channeling, summoning poisonous gases around him.

Grind spot? : Not really, but if you have 2 person, go to the boss map and train, 1 lures 1 hit.
From there, I have completed to here. When you need to access Aram, you need to kill Karlsberg to gain something for trust with the tribes of something.

Quote:

Karlsberg

Skills:
Unknown
Unknown

Grind spot? : No, the map is too random, too awkward.
I'll show you the rest of the Bosses.

Quote:

Burlune

Skill:
Eat banana : Heal some hp from eating it
Summon babies : Useless, but if you are low levelled and less evade, good luck. He summon a few level 30 monkey

Grind spot? : Nope. Map too random.
Quote:

Arca

Skill:
Unknown for me
Unknown for me

Grind spot? : From hearsay, its the only plausible solution to grind at 5x
Quote:

Pythanuth

Skill:

Unknown for me
Unknown for me

Grind spot? : From hearsay, not a good place to train.

From the day I become an archer, I will know its my fate for it. I always loved archer, and choose archer for most of my MMO games.

I'll give my thanks to the following people who inspired me early game (when I was a rookie in deciding jobs)

- Muckel ( For his hunter guide early, to make a decision on hunters or rangers)
- じ☆veㄚひ (For his/her ranger guide)
- Basthovian (Another ranger guide, well, that was the guide who made my path)

I know they are all missing in action, but at least, these made me what i'm today.

After these early guides, I made my own, and have to thanks several people too. And now, this guide for archer classes.

- Zephyre ( For contributing a little for ranger thingys)
- Xallista ( For being a pro information overload in trapper, knowing this formula and that)

and more... including people who watched my guide.

Vulcan 300 is considered the worst ballista attacking skill, or the worst 3rd job attacking skill ever created.

None for now =P
OMG, A fellow Singaporean! Thanks for the helpful guide. I was searching high and low and most guides are not as complete as yours. Well done for a secondary student. You have my utmost respect!
