Dragonica Official Website

INTRODUCTION
Leveling in Dragonica is relatively easy when compared to other MMORPGs. One has to know what he/she is doing and is sure about their actions. Getting lost in the world of Dragonica will only slow you down. So this guide is made to help you to reach Level60 as quickly as possible without any complications.

In this guide will cover leveling and questing information, PVP specs and tactics, boss and mission maps strategies and skill allocation as an archer.

OVERVIEW
PVE as an archer
  • Archers in PVE focuses on burst damage. In detail, meaning high critical damage and fast quick anti-air shots.
  • Archers are the best combo makers in game, way better than jesters and harlequins. Arrow showers when maxed out can hit 7 enemies 8 times each. That’s a whooping 56 hits! Casting it 3 times you get 168 hit or 15 combo points in merely 8 seconds.
  • Archers have low hit points but have high movement speed and evasion to compensate it. You can barely get hit in PVE as an archer. With hallucination skill casted, you are in a state of godmode for 15sec.
  • With high mobility, you can cruise through any obstacles with ease. Very useful in random spawn boss hunting.
PVP as an archer
  • Archers in PVP focuses purely on launches, anti-air shots and disabling/debuffing skills.
  • Archers is the No.1 launch king. They have 5 instant launch skills and every launch skill they have has a wide area of effect.
  • Archer’s anti-air shots are lightning fast and can be increased by casting +attack speed buffs and wearing +attack speed equipments.
  • Casting hallucination will give the archer 15sec of godmode, +200% evasion.
  • Archers are good disablers/debuffers too.
Net bind work wonders in group PVP. When maxed, it can web 3 enemies for 3sec. When maxed disruption web, Net bind will apply slow and DOT (damage overtime) debuffs to the enemies.
Acid arrow when maxed decrease opponent’s attack power and defense by 14%.

Skill allocation Level1-20 (PVP and PVE)
  • Bow mastery 5/5: +90 attack power. Wow! That’s a lot when you are a lowbie.
  • Rapid step 5/5: more movement speed and mobility meaning less chance to get hit.
  • Rising arrow 2/5: your main launch skill before 2nd job. 2 skill points to it is sufficient.
  • Anti-air shot 5/5: your main damage comes from AAS. Combo this with rising arrow. Launch enemies and anti-air shot way!
  • Shoot down 1/1: perquisite of multishot.
  • Multishot 5/5: your No.1 PVE anti boss skill. When maxed, 7 shots will hit per target at point blank range.
*Reset skills with the free skill reset scroll if you added some wrong skills.*

PVE Tactics
It’s easy to play as an archer. Things you should know while playing PVE as an archer:
  • Do “hit and run” on enemies. Jump shoot and strafe, don’t get hit.
  • Collect as much combos as possible. 150 hits = 15 combo. Once you hit 15combo, reset the counter by taking a break. Plan your combo well. You need at least 20 combos to get an S in arcade mode “solo mission map” (providing you don’t get hit of course).
  • Multishot is your no.1 anti boss skill. Cast it at point blank range.
  • Rising arrow and anti air shot can be used as a combo to clear mobs.

PVP Tactics
Archers excels greatly in 1v1 pvp. In low level pvp matches, your opponents usually have a few skills to cast. You don’t need to worry too much. Having the right and proper stats on gears guarantees you victory. Things you should know while playing PVP as an archer:
  • Wear EVASION accessories (necklace/rings/earrings/belt). Those items are cheap and common. Low level players do not have the funds to buy +accuracy items which are really expensive. With high evasion, you are basically semi-godmode. No one can hit you. Example of evasion gears is +2% evade necklaces.
  • On armors, wear +AGI stat to increase accuracy and evasion. Wear set pieces with agility stat.
  • Bow using + MAX ATT/+AGI/+ACCURACY.
  • Rising arrow and anti air shot combo. As long as you keep your opponents in the air by casting anti air shot, they will never touch the floor. In other words, permanent disabling them.
  • Hop/jump around if your opponent is higher level than you. Counter attack them every time they cast a skill that misses you.
  • Be aggressive and confident. Never succumb to mind games.
  • Watch out for enemies counterattacks.
  • Tap jump x2 times + arrow directions will help you barrel roll away to safety. Extremely important to master especially the timing to tap the jump keys. Barrel rolling away to safety gives you a chance to counter attack your opponents while he’s recovering from his attack.
TIP FOR FAST RECOVERY (barrel roll):
-Tap jump x2 times and you will barrel roll away. Press direction keys and you can guide your character in the direction you want when he rolls on the floor. Notice that you will do multiple flips on the floor while barrel rolling, which is bad because your opponents may have already recover and possibly attack you again.
-Tap jump x2 times with direction keys to guide your character. As soon as you do the barrel roll, you tap on the direction keys so your character goes opposite direction resulting in a 1 flip barrel roll. 1 flip, get up and counter attack.
  • Skill buffs like adrenaline booster (guild buff) and couple buff will increase your att speed by 10% each. Casting both in PVP will grant you +20% increase att speed. With the +4% att speed medal added to your equipment, you will get +24% att speed increase. If you are wearing a white tooth hat which gives +20% att speed. Your att speed will ridiculously fast (44% att speed increase). Sadly AAS is capped at 14 shots per second. Enjoy AAS-ing!

LEVEL 20-40
Leveling places:
  • Level 20 to 25:
White tooth mission maps - Beared Whale Coast Mission Map
Chaos tutu mission maps - Chaos West Traitor's Ridge Mission Map
  • Level 25 to 30:
Alvida mission maps - Steven Trading Post Mission Map
Chaos toto mission maps - Chaos East Traitor's Ridge Mission Map
  • Level 30 to 36:
Artis mission maps - Mirinae Sanctuary Mission Map
Chaos white tooth mission maps- Chaos Beared Whale Coast Mission Map
  • Level36 to 40:
Artis mission maps - Mirinae Sanctuary Mission Map
Chaos white tooth mission maps - Chaos Nautilus Port Mission Map
Sambaba mission maps - Valid Raeth Mission Map
*I suggest doing chaos mission maps at Level36-38 and doing sambaba mission maps at Level38-40*

Quests
  • Complete 50 Hero Quests
Complete every HERO quests given (RED exclamation marks) for job advancement and "Legendary Hero" medal. (ATK Speed, Movement Speed all +4.0%)
  • Complete 100 Adventure Quests
Complete every adventure quests until get your “Patrol Squad” medal. (ATK Speed +4.0%). *Doing further adventure quest would be a waste of your precious time.*
  • Complete 10 Guild Quests
Complete 10 guild quest to obtain the “In the Name of the Guild" medal. (STR, INT, AGI, VIT all +5).
It’s easy to do it, because you can just spam arrow shower and collect tons of combo in 2 Star Toto mission map.

Skill allocation Level20-40 (PVP and PVE)
  • Bow mastery 5/5: +90 attack power. Still a lot in some way.
  • Rapid step 5/5: more movement speed and mobility meaning less chance to get hit.
  • Rising arrow 1/5: 1 skill point to it is sufficient.
  • Bird watching 5/5: the chicken buff skill that adds +20 AGI +20 STR and +250 AP. Nice <3
  • Hallucination 5/5: 15 second of god mode.
  • Arrow shower 5/5: combo is never been easier with this skill.
  • Rocket launcher 3/5: I never like adding rocket launcher. Even though it is an instant cast skill, it has some long casting animation just like multishot. Very bad in PVP, so-so in PVE. 3 skill points to it.
  • Wolf rush 5/5: your ultimate launch skill after rising arrow. A must max skill.
*Reset skills with the free skill reset scroll if you added some wrong skills.*
*feel free to experiment with different skills. You can reset your skills via the free skill reset scroll.*

PVE Tactics
  • Basically the same as the above, but this time you got the arrow shower skill. So easy combo in mission maps.
  • Use arrow shower to collect combos in mission maps
  • Wolf rush/rising arrow combo with anti air shot to dispatch your enemies quickly.
  • Pretty much the same stuff as the above mention.

PVP Tactics
Same as the above explanation given. Just stack more AGI and evasion items. Evasion items are cheap and common. AGI on armors and evasion on accessories.
  • More evasion and more AGI. Get your evade to 5x-7x in your mid 30s/40s. You will be godmoding in PVP. No one can touch you except mages.
  • With an obscene evasion, you can 2v1 or 3v1 with ease. Cast hallucination and go on a rampage. Wolf rush/rising arrow your opponent and anti air shot them.
  • VIT on armors is a bonus in PVP before 3rd job.
  • Bow using + MAX ATT/+AGI/+ACCURACY. I prefer to go for +accuracy and +AGI bows to sure hit in PVP.

  • Level 45 to 49:
Field map - Chaos Hero's Descent Field Map
Sambaba mission maps - Vaild Raeth Mission Map
  • Level 49 to 52:

(Owl - kill re-spawning mobs over and over again in the boss map, ignore boss)
  • Level52 to 60:
Owl leveling - Forgotten Forest 4 stars Boss Mission Map (Solo)
Field map - Chaos Smoldering Swamp Field Map
Chaos sambaba - Chaos Valid Raeth Mission Map

Quests
  • Complete 50 Hero Quests
Complete every HERO quests given (RED exclamation marks) for job advancement and "Legendary Hero" medal. (ATK Speed, Movement Speed all +4.0%)
  • Complete 1000 Adventure Quests
Complete every adventure quests until get your “King of Adventure” medal. (ATK Speed +8.0%)
*Once you hit Level60, you will have nothing much to do. This is when you complete adventure quests. Complete 1000 and get that medal to pass time.*

Skill allocation Level40-60 (PVP and PVE)
  • Bow mastery 5/5: +90 attack power. Not so important in 3rd job, it is up to you.
  • Rapid step 5/5: more movement speed and mobility meaning less chance to get hit.
  • Rising arrow 1/5: 1 skill point to it is sufficient.
  • Bird watching 5/5: the chicken buff skill that adds +20 AGI +20 STR and +250 AP. Nice <3
  • Hallucination 5/5: 15 second of god mode.
  • Arrow shower 5/5: combo is never been easier with this skill.
  • Rocket launcher 1/5: 1 skill point to it.
  • Wolf rush 5/5: your ultimate launch skill after rising arrow. A must max skill.
  • Pierce 1/5: since it only works for normal hits. Pretty much useless.
  • Aiming 5/5: adds accuracy. A must have.
  • Weakness detection 5/5: adds even more accuracy and critical rate with aiming is active. A must have.
  • Falcon frenzy 5/5: your new launch skill. I still prefer wolf rush though. The casting animation is faster.
  • Blitz 5/5: the best launch skill. On par with wolf rush. A must have skill. Max it for full potential.
  • Falcon mastery 5/5: increase falcon’s damage.
*Reset skills with the free skill reset scroll if you added some wrong skills.*
*you will have 100+ left over skill points. Feel free to add either to traps or net bind. Both work well in PVP*

PVE Tactics
Pve in the mid 40s/50s is different from pve in your 2nd job. Due to the fact you will be raiding boss often (lavalon/aram), you need a lot of HP. Max VIT on all your PVE gears is a must. You will need at least 6k HP to take on Aram.

PVP Tactics
Pvp in the mid 40s/50s is totally different from pvp in your 20s/30s. your evasion will be watered down due to the fact a lot of players will now have +accuracy items on pretty much every accessories and on their weapons. It is a good idea to add VIT to your gears. Evasion is still a must have. Your accuracy now mainly comes from the aiming skill.

Your aim is to get your evade up to 11x using a 3:3 or a 5:1 set piece.

A 3:3 set piece means 3 from a Level47 viceroy set and 3 from a level54 warhawk set. You just want the evade bonus on the 3 piece, so wearing a 3:3 will benefit from the 2 set’s evade bonus. 3:3 is cheaper to obtain and has the highest evade w/o hallucination.

5:1 set piece means wearing a Crown of Elluman and wearing 5 pieces from a set. The 5:1 gives a lot of AGI, increasing both accuracy and evade. 5:1 is rather expensive because a max stat +12AGI/+7%evade Crown of Elluman cost a bomb. It has the highest evade during hallucination.

Traps and net bind are useful in PVP.

Traps: Useful traps are silence and bounce. Place a trap on a burrowed thief or place it at your back before you AAS. It helps and deters players from back stabbing you.

Net bind: net bind is a rather supportive/disabling skill. Cast net bind on an opponent (in a group pvp) and let the mages drop a blizzard/penguin on them (perma freeze). You can also lure an opponent away and net bind him. Then AAS someone in peace. It has endless uses. Try experimenting and practice with it.
