08 Summer Olympics~

Yesterday was not a good day for the men in gymnastics. So many tumbles and falls. I feel bad, but I feel worse when the women mess up because they always look like they're going to cry.

When the leader of the USA team for women's gymnastics messed up, she looked like she was gonna cry but then the cameras kept focusing on her so she probably thought twice.

Oh my gosh, I felt embarrassed to even look at my TV at the time! I didn't like that the camera was just stuck on her and her eyes darted to the screen and then away and then back... she looked like she was in so much despair.

Honestly, the cameras should have just left her alone.. They kept coming back to her every few minutes or something.
I also felt bad for the Japanese guy who fell from the rings. It was like they couldn't leave him alone. Nobody needed to see the replay over and over again.

Yeah, it got really old replaying his fall in slow motion, what, three times?

Is there a rule against walking away from the camera, too? I was wondering if the American female gymnast was just going to walk away. Though granted, there are probably cameras elsewhere for different stations.

There should be a rule against having putting your camera right in front of people's faces.
@Mei, yea... I was like 'gd it I saw him fall for the first time. Now you have to do it in slow motion too???' ;-; It's embarrassing enough-- no need to repeat the fall over and over again.

I've been trying to figure out what that black "thing" on her shoulder is. I was thinking it was a tattoo at first, but I decided to look it up. ; ;

And those two are not only the reason why I love watching beach volleyball, but the reason why I decided to watch the Olympics at all, beyond the opening ceremony. This year, I discovered another favorite in gymnastics. <3

So, USA just kicked Greece's ass! Basketball.

What do you expect, nothing compares to the NBA Team USA had in terms of basketball.

As I said, Australia won the women's 4x200m relay in swimming owing a lot to Stephanie Rice.

Ryan Lochte beat Aaron Peirsol in the 200m backstroke winning a Gold Medal with Peirsol winning Silver Medal, Michael Phelps just won his 6th Gold Medal for this Olympics in the 200m individual medley with Laszlo Cseh winning Silver Medal and Ryan Lochte winning a Bronze Medal.

Rebecca Soni beat Leisel Jones in the 200m breaststroke making a new world record and of course winning a Gold Medal.
