On the balance beams, the Chinese girls seemed kinda shaky... =\
I can't believe they got such high scores.

Linlin looks way small. @____@ The leader of the women's gymnastics (China) looks really young, as if she's only around 15 or so.

Point? Most Chinese people I know from China are really, really, young-looking. I know an 18 year old from Phil that looks 13-15 years of age. Oh, and when I went to Cambodia, my niece was a year older than me, but looked about 5 years younger.

The US basketball team basically has the gold medal sealed up. I'm still hoping China wins more medals. Only cuz most ppl on this thread seem to expect the US to get more. China FTW. BTW those gymnastics girls are really small lol

- Yang something from China is freaking awesome! FTWCannons!

Lol, China is my contender for Gold in All-Around Gymnastics Men, then comes Korea and Japan. If US can make it great like they've been, they could nab a bronze, or better yet silver. Which would mean China is still 2 medals from the top spot. Just wait until Athletics next week >8D USA will kick everyone's Ass in Sprinting, Mid-Distance, and Distance!
- Tyson Gay
- Jeremy Wariner
- Bernard Lagatt
Awesome! Lol, they're Michael Phelps of running in their respective fields.

Will USA be able to catch with China in terms of Gold Medals or will China just be the one with the most Gold Medals for this Olympics? that we have to stay tune to find out.
Australia's women swimming team got the Gold Medal in the 4x200m Relay owing a lot to Stephanie Rice.

Actually theres a lot of drama surrounding a couple of the Chinese gymnasts with the ages on their government issued passports not matching old records. Here.
Quote:
In Chinese newspaper profiles this year, He was listed as 14, too young for the Beijing Games.
The Times found two online records of official registration lists of Chinese gymnasts that list He’s birthday as Jan. 1, 1994, which would make her 14. A 2007 national registry of Chinese gymnasts — now blocked in China but viewable through Google cache — shows He’s age as “1994.1.1.”
Another registration list that is unblocked, dated Jan. 27, 2006, and regarding an “intercity” competition in Chengdu, China, also lists He’s birthday as Jan. 1, 1994. That date differs by two years from the birth date of Jan. 1, 1992, listed on He’s passport, which was issued Feb. 14, 2008.

The China people did something (which we don't know) to bluff their ages on their passports so that they can take part in all this.

I agree; Linlin is my favorite in the Chinese women's gymastics team, even though they're all cute. The article was interesting, though.
Yesterday was not a good day for the men in gymnastics. So many tumbles and falls. I feel bad, but I feel worse when the women mess up because they always look like they're going to cry.
