Anyone going to Afest this year? (Texas)
 

Well, it's a month and then some till the convention, and I was wondering if Anyone else here on Mog lived in the DFW area and would be going to Afest.

If so, we need to meet up and have epic lolz.

It's an anime convention that's held in Dallas every year in september. Just a typical anime convention, but it's really fun :D

I'm just between Dallas and Fort Worth, so it's like a 30 minute train ride for me.

We must fine other Texas-ers on MOG and meet up at a convention for great justice.


If I weren't so Lazy, I'd cosplay a TO or Lunia character.

:P Houston is so far though, like 6 hours. I do have some random friends from Houston that come up this far, but they're crazy cosplay geeks who love to join contests.

Expensive gas for the epic fail.

This is why I started memorizing the bus routes. Takes me forever to get anywhere, but I get to read a lot more and it's cheap as hell. $3 to go somewhere that would cost me $20 in gas? HELL YES.

Dallas is too far way for me by myself, plus I missed A-Con this year.

A freind said he wants to go to Oni-Con (in Houston, in October) this year, so I'll be going there if everything works out.
