Links on Facebook, YouTube, and other social sites don't give us the type of "credit" we need to make this work. Although I appreciate (and won't turn down) any publicity we can get, what we really need to make this work are links as I described.

Unfortunately... I don't have friends who own fansites or whatsoever. The only ways I can hep is through Facebook, but even then, it's not a lot.

I don't think I have any friends that own these types of sites either. I used to have a small handful of anime/manga sites myself, but these have long closed down. Maybe friends of friends can help though. I'll send a couple of PMs out to friends tonight.

I also have an old deviantART account. Plenty of gamers there with websites, so I'll post a notice there as well. Hope that helps.

Since everyone's replying here, I guess I'll reply here too. o.o/

I do not know friends who own sites. Well I know one or two who does, but it is not gaming, unfortunately. I got things like my MSN and AIM, and... Well, to be honest, you really have MUCH more luck with Facebook. (I mean really, GGFTW DID implement "Facebook Fan" and "Twitter Fan" user bars.) But well, that's my opinion. xD;

I'll see what I can do though. o.o;;

And quick-question: Can my guild website (it was systemed by Wikispaces) count as a "Link Back"? I have ggFTW and it's related links (especially my guild forums and page) located at it's Bookmarks section~

I can ask my graphics design colleagues if we can get your links up as an affiliate in our game development projects. We're also planning on getting our own site up, but if it helps GGFTW, I'll do what I can.

Can I offer Riot Games as a possible affiliate? They're a small gaming company and league of legends is a very popular game with a big community at the moment.

Even though no one knows me and I don't really know anyone, I do know that ggftw is a community that tries to be friendly and to help people, so it'd be sad to see it die.

I hope everyone knows, that you are all very important here at ggFTW. Yes, we have staff members, but ggFTW wouldn't be ggFTW if we also didn't have our community, our members. And I'm hoping that anyone who thinks they're not "important" to ggFTW, to realize that they really are.
