Member of the Month Nominations (March 2010)

Some members of the community have been really great people. They may get lots of reputation, but why not give them the recognition they deserve!
The Member of the Month event is a chance for people to stand out and get recognized by the community for their contributions and being such a great part of the community.

How does one become Member of the Month?
The community will submit their nominees name and their reason for nominating that person in a PM. This PM is to be sent to Mirae [Link]
When nomination time has ended, the PM's will be tallied and reviewed. This process may take a day or two, depending on the number of submissions.

When the tally is complete, the top 5 nominated members will be placed in a poll for a duration of 5 days. This poll will be private, and you may only select one person from the list.

When the 5 days are up, the top voted member becomes our new Member of the Month.
In the event of a tie, we will then recreate the poll with the two members, then after 2 days, the one who wins gets the award.

What is the reward?
Currently, Members of the Month will get a Userbar, 50 Reputation Points and VIP Status/Sienna Name
*Prizes may increase in time pending popularity.

The Rules of Member of the Month.

Every contest has rules, and these are the rules set in place for participating.

Nominations-

• You must send a PM to Mirae [Link] with the PM's title MoM Nomination.
• You must have a brief reason for nominating someone, but do not use improper reasons such as "He's my friend" or "lol he's cool"
• The member you nominated must have a minimum of 10 posts.
• You can't nominate anyone on the /ggFTW Staff.

Voting-

• You may only vote for one person in the poll. This poll will be private to respect the privacy of others.
• Voting will be checked for any cheaters/double accounts. They will be banned if found.
• Please do not sway someones decision. If someone is going to vote, it should be their choice and not yours.

This Months Schedule
Nominations Start - March 23rd
Nominations End - March 30th
Voting Starts - April 1st
Voting Ends - April 5th
