Profile of the Month - Nominations (11.2008)

Before we begin...

This contest has received the most participation of any event we have run to date. We're used to dealing with contests that have less than 10 entries and barely any support. As a result, the process will not be perfect until we fine tune it! I have some ideas for how to run these in the future, but they will take some time to implement and test. As a result, November's contest will go on as October's did. Please bear with us as we try and streamline this event!

/preface

The "Profile of the Month" contest is a competition for MMOG members to show off their custom profiles and be voted by their peers. Rules for entry are simple:

1. You must be the one that created your profile customizations. Please do not use a pre-made profile as you will be disqualified if we find out about it.

2. The theme for this month is - no theme. Since it's our second one, just be creative.

3. Please do not use offensive or vulgar images in your profile customizations.

The winner of this event will be featured on the MMOG front page for the month of November and will receive the "Best Profile" award:



To enter, simply post a screenshot of your profile. All screenshots must be in 1024x768 resolution or higher. If you run 800x600, please change your display settings to take the SS. If you absolutely cannot get a 1024x768+ screen resolution, please contact me and we'll work on this. Please link to the screenshot so we don't murder the load time on this thread. You can host images at photobucket.com or imageshack.us.

To be eligible, someone must second your entry. The top 5 profiles (those that have the most seconds) will be polled to see who wins. So get your friends to second your entry if you really want to enter. To second an entry, please quote it and state that you second the entry. Seconds that do not have the original entry quoted will not be counted.

All entries and seconds must be received before 12:00AM PDT on November 1st. Winner will be decided by poll by November 5th.
