Default BIOHD-5 Error? Disk read error? :l

So on the first day of this 'wonderful' new year, my PC decided to suicide.

At first I thought only my hard drive burned out + there was a 'BIOHD-3' Error, (It actually did burn out) so I went and bought a new one. My uncle fixed the error after like 10 hours of trying things, it started working, I sleep, wake up, turn on my PC to check if it really works again. Guess what, it doesn't.

I ran diagnostics to see what the problem is this time, passed CPU, Memory and the first 2 Drives? Then it said >

Testing Boot Path - Error Code : BIOHD-5, Please contact HP Support.

Whenever I try to start it up it goes all black and says "A disk read error occurred, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart." I restarted atleast 20 times but it doesn't help.

Does anyone here know anything about this BIOHD-3 Error? Or how to fix it?

Any ideas could help >: Since I'm clueless myself.

Check the boot order in bios. I don't know what this error means as it's HP only and not a general error. It's probably best to contact HP.

I checked boot order which was 1. DVD RW (and some other words) then my Hard Drive and so forth, so I changed it to 1. Hard Drive, 2. CD ROM and 3. NET ..or something, but it still didn't work q__q..

Btw I found on some support forum site that the boot order should be
1. HDD
2. CD-ROM
3. FDD or NET

Which is why I tried that >: But it still won't help.

made a lil research and it seems to be a lot of ppl with that problem, it is said to be either HDD, or is unknown, on threads moderators hasnt yet answered most of them... so there's no actual solution but to ask for official HP support

also test if ur HDD is dead or not

Spoiler!

I'm guessing that it has something to do with BIOS not being loaded correctly. I have no idea how to go about fixing this though. Is it a desktop? If so, then you may want to consider a new motherboard, as this is definitely not something directly related to the HDD.

My hard disk was burned out, so I bought a new one. But the problem didn't end there q_q

Thanks for the replies though :3 My uncle and a friend of his managed to finally fix it *o*!
