My new computer will be in a different room and Shaw only allows 1 modem per account so I'll have to figure out an alternative way of connecting to the internet. My main computer setup is only a few rooms down and It has a cable modem and a Linksys WRT310N router hooked up giving it's using DD-WRT. I'm wondering if my old DELL WRTA-108GD router would act like a wireless adapter picking up my other wireless routers internet connection. My other 2 alternatives are: picking up a Powerline Ethernet Adapter or putting both computer in the same room to share 1 router (Linksys).
Can anyone confirm if my first method will work?
