Default Friend buying a new PC

My friend's PC is really crap. It's a HP laptop that she bought for $300 three years ago. Anyways, she needs a new one. Her budget is $850, including shipping and all that crap.

We're looking for laptops, but I'm not amazingly knowledgeable on this kinda thing, so I was hoping for some help or tips or pointers. She games frequently, mostly MOBA games. No need to be amazing or anything. Just to run things like Dota 2 and such. Any suggestions on where to look, or anything like that would be great. Thanks!

Personally I'm using a Lenovo G700 (I think its a G700).

Can run Dota 2 on max settings, GW2, PSO2 etc on minimum settings and still have around 30 FPS.

Forgot to mention, mine has a dedicated GPU that's a bit better than a Nvidea 520M. I don't remember which one, but it was an AMD.

Could give this a try:
Newegg.com - Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 (59387522) Intel Core i5 4200M(2.5GHz) 6GB Memory 1TB HDD 17.3" Notebook Windows 8
Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X469 AMD A-Series A10-5757M(2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD 15.6" Touchscreen Notebook Windows 8
Acer V5-552PG-X809 AMD A-Series A10-5757M(2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD 15.6" Touchscreen Notebook Windows 8 64-Bit

Would give the first one a try as it has a higher screen resolution. Higher resolutions let you see further in Dota 2 (Friend tried playing on a 1280x720 and he had horrible awareness compared to a 1920x1080).

I would suggest getting a desktop for gaming if it's something that your friend is keeping at home. You could get an infinitely better gaming rig if you build a desktop rather than buying a prebuilt laptop.

In case your friend actually decides to build a desktop, could give this a try (Ignore compatibility notes since it doesn't affect performance):
