I always like to peruse newegg reviews. I've looked at chromebooks. For what it does, I'd rather get a decent tablet with a keyboard - honestly I think that'll be more useful than a chromebook.
Chromebook is like a lightweight companion - you shouldn't expect it to do /much/ imo. I looked at chromebooks, netbooks, and tablets. In my opinion the tablet market has grown enough (I thought they were stupid at first) that most tablets function better than small-scale portable computers (chrome/netbooks). That's just my opinion, as someone who's browsed the lightweight market for something easy to transport purely for class notes, school, and general portability.
If you're looking at this for gaming... I think you're looking in the wrong place.
also assuming you wanted a cheap gaming laptop because you gave no real idea of what you actually want this for. `-`
