Upgrading graphics card
Okay, so I have a 5-year old HP Pavilion a1750y Desktop (Yes it'd be easier to just build or get a new one but ugh -___- dem money problems), and when I looked up the specs, it told me that I had 3 PCI and 1 PCI-E x16 expansion slots. My desktop's graphics is also integrated.

I'm not really THAT tech savvy, I know some basic knowledge. Okay, so I know that I can upgrade to a dedicated graphics by just adding a new card but I'm a little confused at something.

So, I have 3 PCI and 1 PCI-E slots, and by the looks of it, I'm guessing out of the 4 slots, the only black and longer one is the PCI-E? Thing is, there's already a video card there (I have no idea if my dad put it there), is that that the integrated one...? Or do I remove that one and replace it with the new one I'm getting?

If you need more info, my PSU has 300W Output. As for graphics information, it is GE Force 9500 GS for Chip Type and Integrated RAMDAC for DAC Type. I

If you need me to add more information, I'll gladly put it here ASAP. Thanks for the help.

Since it's a 5 year old HP, then yes most likely your motherboard has one PCI-E x 16 2.0 slot. How much are you going to spend? Your power supply will limit what you can get unless you'll upgrade that.
