Uploading from iPod.

Hey ggftw!
I had a question about mobile uploading (iPod Touch in paticular)
Can you upload photos onto ggftw albums;
From iPods?
Photos being on my iPod camera roll.
Because I had spare time and wanted to changes profile layout.

Plus rep to anyone who posts anything helpful.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but If I remember right, iPod/iPhone/iPad doesn't support to upload files. You can't select files off of the memory in those devices?!

You need to copy them to your computer via iTunes first, and then upload the photos from your computer.
...or maybe there is an app for this.

Try downloading the imgupr app.
Sadly you cannot upload to ggftw albums as far as I know.

And I use photobucket,
They only have 5(?) links for their pictures.

You can take the photos off of your iPod, then manually upload them to ggFTW using your computer

Do you get the 'autoplay' dialogue box when you connect your iPod with a USB cable?

If you don't, go to Start > Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > AutoPlay, then scroll down and find your iPod touch (should be under devices)

After enabling AutoPlay, select "Open device to view files"

You should be shown "Internal Storage" for your iPod along with the amount of GB, double click and keep going until you reach your photos, you can then transfer them and then upload to ggFTW I guess? XD If this isn't what you wanted then please ignore this post 8D

I tried uploading pictures to my album directly from my iGadgets and it worked on my iPhone 4S (iOS 6.0) but didn't work on my iPod Touch 3g (iOS 5.1.1), so I'm not sure if it's related to the device or its current software (iPod Touch 3g can't run iOS6 and I gave away my iPod 4g, can't test on it ;-;).

Idk about you guys, but I uploaded from my IPad perfectly fine. It even gives me the option "Choose from existing files" or "Take a photo."

I use an IPad 2 if that helps, also the pictures may come out small when you upload them from your IPod or IPad.

I'm pretty sure it works too, but
I had free time with my iPod,
So I wanted to design a new profile.
Plus I wanted to know if you could upload at all.

Just my thought, I don't like designing a profile with an IPod or a Smartphone, mainly because when you go and pick a picture/design for your profile you cannot scroll through your album's photos from the "Edit your profile" selection.

So Basicly, its hard to edit on smaller devices.

iGadget is a term to reffer to Apple devices in general, sorry for the misunderstanding. Which iOS does your iPod run?

Since iOS 5 you don't have to be connected to a computer. Connect your iPod to a power source and to a wifi network and proceed with the update going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Every time I try upgrading it says:
"An error has occurred while downloading iOS6."

Another software you can try, not sure if it will work.
Backup iPod to PC,copy songs from iPod to computer,iPod to iTunes
