Nvidia GPU and AMV CPU A-Series

if you had to compare the AMD CPU A8-Series to another CPU.
What would it be ?
I look at it and I don't know but it don't seem that impressive to me but I Guss I just don't know much about it =/...
so can you explain ?


I would like to know which Nvidia GPU is better. it for a Laptop.
A Geforce GT 610M or 630M with 1 Gigi bate or something ???

also is a Dual GPU a good GPU by any chance ?

this might be a stupid Question but if you have yourselves a Good GPU and a Bad CPU, will the GPU make a the CPU Better ??? like is there a Connection ?

like a A8-series with AMD Radeon 6xxx GPU or Nvidia Geforce GT 610M or 630M ???

or is it the CPU that helps out the GPU ? which one helps out more ?

and yes I did research, it just hard to understand it...

btw the next series of AMD Trinity A10 is being released and should be in laptops next month or so.
1. Not sure if it is faster but i think it is quite close to 610M
2. Don't get dual GPU, you mean discrete and onboard?
3. It depends on what you're doing.
If you're crunching numbers all day long then intel is the way to go. (compiling code, converting videos, databases, excel)
If you browse and game more then AMD.

Good GPU doesn't make a CPU better and the same the other as well.
Example Good CPU can only give you probably 5 more fps in a game. (usually lesser)
Good GPU can sometimes help the CPU only if the software is programmed with OpenCL

I would wait and get an A10 cause it has better battery life as well.

OH GOD YES...
I'm not buying a Laptop till like after June 1st or something...

as for the A10...THX A WHOLE BUNCH OF CEREAL...:P
I'll wait a little longer. it cuz I check Newegg and I only see like A-seris with a Descrete GPU and it looks pretty suckish =_=...

I mean discrete Dual GPU. good or bad idea ?

i know absolutely nothing about the nvidia 600 series, but higher numbers (x10 vs. x20) tend to be higher power cards unless there's a manufacturing or driver error, which does happen from time to time.

A10 is considered integrated graphics.
Just that AMD integrated a more powerful graphics there.

The advantage is power consumption and price.
The disadvantage is that it doesn't have the best graphics performance and the CPU isn't awesome.

If it is used for media consumption and light gaming get A10, for high end gaming you might want to get i5 with kepler.
But those ultrabooks are expensive stuff.

Trinity should be compared to Ivy Bridge and not a discrete graphics card. It is powerful but not that powerful. It should be numbered around 7500.
