RP: Persona RP
Name: Ren Chellenoir (Ren means Lotus, and despite his last name he is not French.)
Age:19 (Ren had a gap year to earn enough money to travel)
Occupation: Full time student, but works in the old bookstore in town some days.
Appearance: Relatively small at 5’7, Ren presents a well kempt personage. His black hair is usually kept short and out of his eyes. Blue-rimmed glasses help to emphasis Ren’s royal blue eyes. His chin is soft though in contrast his collarbone is well-pronounced. When speaking Ren has a habit of looking away from whom he is talking to and avoiding eye contact, if he does look directly at you his gaze is often shy and somewhat nervous.
Ren wears loose clothing, often wearing V cut T-shirts with shorts; even in winter. Though he is prone to snuggling up in a sleeping bag at home in the cold days.
Personality: Quiet and unassuming, Ren often seeks after places of peace and quiet from the busy streets of Irvine. Not city go-er, he prefers the solitude of his room or the parks frequenting the area. Ren often undermines his own abilities and has a bit of an inferiority complex, and the few friendships he has made, he clings to. However, he is prone to being slightly dramatic and having conversations with himself out loud.
Despite this, his study habits are excellent. Though he’ll often be extremely touching through exam time and always seems endearingly surprised whenever he gets the top marks.
Weapon of choice: Because of his peaceful existence, Ren has had no experience in combat of any kind.
Backstory: Ren was born to an eccentric couple in the south island of New Zealand. Being an only child he was doted upon by both mother and father. These two helped to heavily influence his literary view and helped him to devour classic after classic in his childhood until he could himself. Ren did not start his career of music in his younger years. It wasn’t until he was nearing thirteen that he discovered the harp, if you said ‘love at first sight’ you would be absolutely correct. He displayed surprising aptitude for musical pursuits, going on to learn the Flute, Cello, Violin and Piano. On top of all this he took singing lessons, but was forced to drop it after a year as tutelage fees became too much.
At 18 Ren was awarded a Scholarship to study music at Altisa. It failed to cover flight fees, which weren’t exactly something he and his parents could afford, (their family had never been that wealthy), thus four months frenzied work went by and when Ren finally boarded the plane to California he had turned 19.
