This time, its for the gold medal. Almost had a heart attack watching Canada vs. Slovakia. I'm sure our boys will pull it off on Sunday.

So starting yesterday, in a year away, Vancouver will be entertaining the world. The Winter Olympics are coming and the world will see what Vancouver has to offer. Zephy's Vancouver Canucks Blog

So yesterday was the start of the Vancouver Canucks hockey season. It was a very emotional start to the regular season, paying a tribute to one of their fallen teammates, Luc Bourdon. I almost shed a tear watching the tribute thinking how lucky we are to be alive. Final score was 6-0 against the Flames. Alex Burrow, Luc Bourdon's best friend, had 2 goals. It was the perfect script to the start of the season (for me at least).

Next Up: Canucks @ Flames on October 11.
