Distant Worlds + Opinion of the Final Fantasy Concert.

Seas invite in the evening sun
to light the somber abyss.
Clouds dance up with the heavens' stars,
chanting an air of joyous bliss.

Water fades back from blue to jade,
guiding young rainbows high.
Flowers bloom into red and whites,
quenching our hearts when they run dry.

Angels chained by a beast locked in slumber.
Sin washed away by the swift flow of time.

I may know the answers.
Journeys over snow and sand.
What twist in fate has brought us
to tread upon this land?

Blessed by light and the burden of shadow.
Souls abide to an endless desire.

I may know the answers,
though one question I still hear.
What twist in fate has brought us
to roads that run so near?

Distant worlds together.
Miracles from realms beyond.
The lifelight burns inside me
to sing to you this song.
To sing with you this song.
To sing to you your song.

I like to listen to this song when I'm down.

For those who's not aware, there is a Final Fantasy Concert going on.

The Last concert was held in my hometown, Vancouver, BC Canada. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra did I an excellent job performing.

My experience: When I bought the tickets for 65$. I hoped that it will be worth it. Also I thought that the songs I will be listening in the concert will be nothing but the same experience of listening to songs in my room.

But I was DEAD wrong, AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY PRETTY PENNY!

Here's the view of the Orchestra

(They're REALLY strict about camera's in the Theater)

The first song they played was Liberi Fatali from Final Fantasy 8. When they sang the first verse "Fithos lusec" my heart started pounding fast. It was captivating, totally breathless.
So throughout the whole song I was just smiling like an idiot. I felt like I was nine again when they released the game.

After the song was over, the conductor; Arnie Roth, introduced himself. Nobuo at that day wasn't present because he was busy trying to finish the songs and submit them at the end of October. However he did send out a message to us saying hello and hoping we're enjoying ourselves via video stream.

They played other songs like Aerith's theme, To Zanarkand (instrumental version), Terra's theme and others. But what was exciting to listen was EVERYONE'S favorite theme...The victory theme. That there just pumped everyone up!

Now for the Opera Soloist...
They were incredible. For Draco and Maria, those three singers sang their hearts out...
At first I was worried that the female who sang Maria's verse will overpower her voice, but she didn't! she contorled her voice so well. They were given a standing ovation in the end.
The Woman who sang Memoro de la Stono was also given a standing ovation, it's too bad I don't know her name (it's not the one in the video) Her voice...if you listened to it...it sounded like an angel singing from the heavens.

also the University of British Columbia Choir was there in the Orchestra as well, They sang the Fisherman Horizon, but in my opinion, it was a bit messy.

CHICAGO PEOPLE!
Tis a message for you!

Final Fantasy Distant Worlds is coming to you in December 12!

I FREAKING HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT A HARDCORE FINAL FANTASY FAN!
