First off, Lemme just say that I'm sorry this one was late, I was sick. I also might be late next week as I have exam coming up and need to study. Nothing major, I should still have a review done.
Bokurano episode 6 - Lust
quick review:
We learn more about the new pilot, Isao Kako, that was chosen, as Chizu goes to find him...but Kako has other plans.
in depth review:
Alright, so we get the fact that this has turned into basically a Battle Royale situation where everyone is gonna die and there's not a damn thing they can do about it...in fact, doing nothing will kill everyone.
In this episode, the government decides to step in, and after analyzing Zearth and coming to a conclusion that is not terrestrial in origin, they decide to try to join in the battle.
Meanwhile, a few of the kids go to Kako's house in an effort to find him, which turns up fruitless, as Kako's mom isn't being very helpful. Chizu, on the other had, decides to ask Dung beetle himself, only to get a vague answer. He implies that she knows where to find him, if she really gave a damn. However, he promises to bring him to Zearth when it is time to fight.
AFter meeting up with the other kids searching for Kako, Chizu realizes something, and leaves the others. She runs to the one place that she knows Kako will be, only to see a new enemy materializing before her eyes.
This is where things turn annoying for this episode. However, it answers something I was wondering about: What would you do if you knew you were going to die a virgin for the sake of the world?
Kako has a little episode, talking about being trapped, and how he's got little choice.
At this point it gets a little predictable. Kako doesn't want to die, and knowing that everyone else will die too is no comfort, since he's next.
And what's more, there's something he wants, and won't take no for an answer.
Oh, right, no battles in this episode. Blah. But we do learn something really spiffy about the enemies.
