Ever wonder what it'd be like if I decided to write a short story? Well, wonder no more because every Friday I will write a new chapter or a new short story altogether for my new blog at hubpages.com.

Although frankly, I'm not really sure I like that site very much because of its refusal to let me edit something after I've published it. I might move it somewhere else, but I'll keep you posted on that, should it occur. In the meantime, see if you can spot the descrepency between...

We were supposed to write seven compound sentences, each using a different conjunction. For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So. I decided to push myself further and go the extra mile by writing a short story following those requirements.

It's actually a back story from a game I played a long time ago (see if you can figure out which one) that I changed a number of events (especially the ending) in order to make it a short story. But you can tell from the context that there's a lot more...

So a student I contacted on Wyzant recently got back to me and is finally willing to hire me as a tutor. $27 an hour and they're willing to come to the public library I tutor at already.

And yesterday, I went to the OM Originals/Valley Bugler office finally and applied for the internship there, dropped off my resume, cover letter and two letters of recommendation. The staff there is currently out on vacation, but I should hear something back from them when they return.
