Last week I went on a picnic with some friends, and whole driving around, we happened to find a used record store. Inside I found something that made me squeal with joy.

There, in a non record section mostly filled with toys was an old, 60's model of the Mirro Dial a cookie aluminum cookie press.

I was shocked and amazed, and knew I had to get it. I had been looking for a cookie press for a while (a good one, anyways) and for $8 this one was a steal.

Today my friends decided to drag me along with them to Pancho's mexican Buffet. At first, I didn't feel like getting anything, but after a little bit, the cheap mexican food started to look pretty tasty, so I decided to get some.

When I say "cheap," I refer to the quality, not the pricing. First of all, they raised the price, so it's not anywhere near worth it anymore. Second, I started feeling pretty sick to my stomach the moment I left the building.

Cake time!

After seeing a certain someone on the staff blog waxing about cake balls, I decided to make some myself. Recipe is on bakerella.com

Anyways, my best friend and I got together to have a cake ball making party. We made gluten free double chocolate cake balls covered in mint, and red velvet cream cheese covered in dark chocolate.

A few weeks ago I got the flu decently bad, but not too horrible. Then my best friend got it. Now her mom and brother have it really bad. I bet her vegetarian husband will get it too due to low immunity from not enough nutrition.

Now I have to find somewhere for us to chill other than her house since her family is getting the sick. My mom's house is pretty much out of the question, and the weather has been muggy and rainy for a while, so outdoors would equal the suck.
