MMOG Writing Quilt Challenge = Success!

I'm so happy.

Those who've been checking the blogs lately may have seen a decent increase in posts, most of which mentioning a writing challenge.

This is awesome, because when Cath and I got this idea, we both seemed to think that it might not take off, or we might not get enough writers. But not even a week in and all but nine of our 25 prompts have been claimed, with a lot of them done already.

I never realized we'd get this off the ground so fast, i honestly expected it to either take some time, or fail flat out like my book club idea.

Then again, the writing challenge had Cath backing it, so it's all good. She had much better, more clear cut rules than me. I'm not that good at the fllow through when I get good ideas like that.

But in any case, I'm happy that it took off, and I'm looking forward to reading everyone's entries. It's been so long since I last wrote anything, and I'm happy to be back in the habit again.
