Who the hell is Mitchi?!
The incoherent ramblings of a Tzimisce trapped by a Tremere in a Toreador's body. Or maybe i'm just a Malkavian. My bad.
I am happy

Something awesome has happened: My mom has finally agreed to give my my dad's collection of Japanese dolls <3
I've been asking for these dolls for five or six years now, and every time she's given me some random excuse, like that I won't take care of them (I'm 22 years old, thank you very much. I think I know how to take care of delicate display pieces), or that they'll get messed up, or some weird crap like her not wanting me to display them (she keeps them in a box in the closet).
This latest excuse, however, involved something about eBay.
I absolutely refuse to let her sell my dad's dolls. Those were a gift from his Aunt, and he would have let me have them If I asked him, seeing as how I collect dolls and am learning how to make them.
There's only two things I inherited from my dad: A silver cross pendant that I have my husband wear, and my dad's favorite pocket knife. Neither of those have any value that isn't sentimental (I asked for them specifically because of the memories) and because my dad never had a Last Will and Testament, all his stuff belongs to my mother, except for the few things that she gave me and my brother.
But now, the dolls are mine. I've loved them ever since I was a little girl, and while I know she doesn't give a crap about things that my dad loved, I DO, and I know he damn well wouldn't have wanted her to sell them on freaking eBay.
I'll be posting them once I get them out of the closet (when I move next month. There's no where else for me to put them right now).

@Svenny
I dunno if they are or not.
Anyways, I took one out and took a picture...She's falling off her base x_x I'll never know WHY my dad replaced the original bases for them. I guess he never wanted them to get sold lulz.

Too bad for my mom that not having the original base severely drops the value on these. I've seen mint condition ones go for $160.Posted 11-23-2009 at 07:17 PM by Mitchi
