For those of you who are following my blog along with my real life adventures, you'd know that I last left off talking about how much I failed and regretted my laziness into getting that culinary course. Well, there's no way I'm gonna pass up the next moment.

Walking through the halls of my campus today, I stumbled (literally, I almost fell) upon a flier informing about summer classes at the college campus. It announced sign-ups for the classes are next month in the career center....

Ok, so. The many of you who know me (mainly SOSees, but whatever) know that I'm a food-fanatic.

I aspire to become a chef-restaurateur someday in my future. Of course, I want to do whatever possible to get a headstart on that track. Well . . .

. . . it just so happens that a nearby community college (which happened to be the same campus I spent my middle-charter school years) is offering culinary arts classes and a program that allows you to earn a state-approved certificate...

So, today was unlike the days prior.
It was like I found a packet of Splenda on the counter. So I decided to add it to my lemonade.

Y'know the saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade?"
Unfortunately, that doesn't apply to me. Y'see, life decided to give mad bad lemons -- the kind you're mom teaches you not to pick off of the selection at the grocery store.
