IT'S BLOGGIN' TIME!
Grats to Cath for managing to successfully "beg" (lol) for this feature to be implemented! XD Hurrah~Pita Ten, The Light Novel
Not sure how many of you guys have read/watched Pita-Ten before (by Koge Donbo), but while the manga/anime had a little too much quirkyness in it, the light novel is far more heartwarming. The Swiss Garden, Damai Laut, Malaysia
The first volume of the light novel centers on the early pasts of the characters - Kotarou, Koboshi, Ten-chan, Misha, and Shia. In the Kotarou arc, I was pleasantly surprised to find how much of a naughty kid Kotarou used to be in kindergarten. Koboshi regularly berates him for his antics in class, but soon grows to warm up to him.
Misha, up in heaven, is the lowest class of angel, because of a certain "sin" she had committed in her earlier days. She is forced into a test by Sasha-nee, her big sister, and Misha soon meets Bunny-chan, a quick, sharp tongued angel assistant. Together, they must complete a task set by the great Archangel-sama...
Contrasting itself to the manga/anime, I found the light novel to be touching and heartwarming. I simply loved the premise, and was glad to learn of the pasts of Kotarou and his gang.
I have not managed to read Shia's chapter yet, because it was nearly time for lunch, so I had to rush off ^_^;; I'll promise I'll update this when I'm done.
I've really always wanted to blog about this little special resort off the west coast of Malaysia. XD-Kotarou
At any rate, my family and I originally never had any intention to come to this place. It was by a stroke of luck we (my father.) won a lucky draw for the first prize: 2d 1n stay at this resort.
First thing though - You are coming here to RELAX. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MUCH here. Unless you're a hiker/adventurer dude, they have activities like flying fox, abseling, jungle trekking, and stuff. But honestly, if I wanted to do that I'd not drive all the way here (350KM+- from Kuala Lumpur.)
At any rate, this place is honest-to-goodness... sleep resort. There's no better place to sleep and do absolutely nothing. Of course, there's the customary swimming pool, gym, golf, but meh. Internet access is also available at the whopping price of RM10 a pop (30 minutes). NOT worth your money.
On the other hand, there are some nice spots to visit.
Like THE VIEW.
Cuz that's pretty much all you're going to get.
