Life...The way we live it.
For the first time [ out of 2 total blogs LOL ], you will see me write something instead of taking pictures of me writing.
After seeing Bob and Glarbage post there classes, it got me wondering. Why do I listen to my parents about a major that I never had a strong interests in.
Bio-E is heavy on Biology, Chemistry + LAB, and Physics + LAB. Those three science classes + Calculus can be quite an overkill sometimes. Biology and Chemistry were never my best subjects. Labs were the easiest since it was a follow-the-instructions-and-you-won't-mess-up type of class.
Physics is a subject I enjoyed learning in High School and Math is something I've always been good at since Elementary School. Physics labs are pretty funky. It's not like we mix chemicals or anything. We do hardcore calculations to derive at a specific numerical answer.
One major I was leaning towards after my first year of college was Physics E. I looked through their curriculum and it had mainly Physics + Math, which is something I would enjoy.
I know that Bio-E has a more promising future than Physics E because of the type of work we will do in the future. Bio-E has the ability to help people with the advanced technology we could create while Physics E is meant more for government work.
I also wanted to minor in Music but my parents believe that a minor in Music will never help me. I've been involved with music practically my whole entire life.
Most of my friends were SO sure that they wanted to do business for the money. The question was would they actually enjoy doing it for four years and then possibly a few more to get a Masters or PhD?
Life is such an interesting thing. It's something we need to think about carefully for our future as we mature.
To end this, I'll post a picture that my friend took since Shiki is probably still roaming somewhere looking for my pictures. .__.

Piano [ 2nd grade - high school ], Flute [ 4th grade - Freshman ], Front Ensemble [ Freshman - Senior ], and Bassoon [ Sophomore - Senior ].College can be such a challenge with just deciding the major itself. This is something that I'm pretty sure everyone goes through and future college students will face as well.

waah i can relate here =x...especially im taking up business course... im currently in college but i never really liked my course,,hehehhe ,,but i think i was able to did well but not really enjoying..but oh well im on my 4th year now >.<;;Posted 08-28-2009 at 07:14 AM by YukitchiSan
