"Bri" rhymes with "Guy" and they both rhyme with "Fly".
Bluh.

Today sucks, it seems.
Yesterday, I noticed that I had a bit of a sore throat. To be expected, it is getting toward winter after all. Things like that happen when it is cold out. I shrugged it off, thinking I'd just let it go away on its own. Then I went to bed, and I could not get to sleep. Turns out I didn't just have a sore throat, but also what people frequently call a "post-nasal drip." Which, from what I understand, means that my nose is leaking backwards. Which results in a constant feeling of there being something in my throat. Which makes a sore throat worse, and makes it impossible to get to sleep. I finally did get to sleep at about 2:00 AM.
Some time later (It turned out to be about an hour later) I woke up with a massive headache. Like, I'm pretty sure there was something inside my brain, pounding on the inside of my skull. Not fun. I laid in bed for about 45 minutes, trying to get back to sleep. That wasn't happening. I eventually got up, found an advil, took that with a quite large glass of water, and then got back in bed. 20 minutes later, my head was still threatening to explode, but I was actually feeling sleepy again. At 4:00 in the morning. And my alarm was set for 7:30.
When my alarm went off, I actually don't think I heard it. Or rather, I have no recollection of being woken up by it, or turning it off, or anything else. All I know is that I woke up at exactly 7:30, looked at my phone and saw that the alarm was not turned on. But I was still awake at the right time, and I had the "alarm-tune" on my phone playing itself over in my mind. I think maybe my roommate may have turned it off. Or I turned it off subconsciously. (That could be dangerous, now that I think about it.) At any rate, I didn't get more than about 4 hours of sleep, but I had to get up because I had a calculus test this morning.
Calculus test. FUN. (not really.) I hate taking math tests as it is, because no matter how much I study, there's always something on the test that I can't remember how to do to save my life. Combining that with a severe lack of sleep is not a good thing. So, I'm pretty sure I failed that. As of right now, I've got about 45 minutes until I leave for my calculus quiz block (fortunately since there was a test today there is no quiz, but I still have to go) and then I'll be heading back to the dorm for a nap. If I can actually sleep.
So yeah, boring blog is boring. Sorry for being so full of complaining.
