I is a sleepy person

So yeah, it's 11:25 PM and here I am blarging. And listening to the Sanctuary Fortress song. Figured that'd make the man of seven hats happy.

Anywho, I intend to write about my weekend. And what a crazy weekend it was. Which is to say, it was a crazy weekend and I will write about it.

So, I posted on Thursday from my mom's house during our family's day of the giving of thanks celebration. I was writing about the asstons of food that we were to consume. And consume we did. Yeah, it was awesome. And also pie. I think I had four or five varieties of pie that day. So it was cool. It was especially cool because I had run a race that morning so I was particularly hungry. But enough of this talk of food; I'm in bed and this is making my mouth water, and getting out of bed at this hour to get food is an unwise idea.

So I spent Thursday night at my cousin's house. You know how everyone has that one really, really awesome cousin? Yeah, this guy is that cousin. We got to his house around 7:30, and we hung out in his bedroom watching Flight of the Conchords (awesome show if you ever get the chance to watch) while my younger sister and aunt watched Finding Nemo in the living room. Then they went to bed and we took the living room over. We played some Left 4 Dead, a touch of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, and Oblivion. Then we spent a good hour watching videos online (ebaumsworld and the like). And then we watched Donnie Darko. I'll be damned if that's not one of the top three movies I have ever seen, ever. Plus it had (and was apparently the origin of) that awesome cover of Mad World. After that, I played LaTale while my cousin played Mercenaries 2. All told, we were up until almost 5:00 AM. We didn't get up the next day until 1:00 PM, at which point I proceeded to eat bagels and grilled cheese (a surprisingly good combination) and play more LaTale. And then we drove back to my mom's house. That was kinda depressing; my mom's house is a boring place when there's not a Thanksgiving party. I spent the rest of Friday without a computer, dealing with my younger sisters who annoy me very, very, very much. There are three of them. Sisters, that is. Well, that and "very"s in that sentence. I spent Saturday morning watching my sisters (read: sleeping) while my mom delivered vegetables (she's a farmer) to people. Then that afternoon we went back to my cousin's house to pick up my sister's teddy bear, which she had left there. We ended up staying there for about two hours, and I'm not really sure how that happened. Then we went back to my mom's house where we ate leftover Thanksgiving food (HAPPY FACE!) and generally hung out. And then I spent a couple hours looking for scholarships and filling out financial aid forms. This whole "going to college next year" thing is a lot of work. And then this morning I woke up very tiredly to go to church, which I proceeded to fall asleep in. And then when we left there we cleaned my mom's car and raked leaves all afternoon. So all in all not a fun time. And then we went to church again. I never quite got why we go to church twice on Sundays.

Whatever though. I'm home now, and I should probably be sleeping, although I'll probably just end up sleeping on top of a math test in the morning. Apparently "snore" or "drool" must be the correct answer to nearly every single question that teacher asks me, because I've got a 96 in that class right now. Funny how that works.

So yeah, I had an... interesting weekend. Aside from the suckiness of some of it, I did end up with a full gullet several times over, a 2-liter of Sunkist taken from my mom's house, and a (borrowed, likely permanently, from my cousin) PS2. I can finally play Kingdom Hearts! Huzzah!

tl;dr: Weekend was cool at first, then it sucked. I now have a PS2 and can play Kingdom Hearts. Happy faces ensued.

EDIT: The fact alone that this post has taken me 22 minutes to type scares me greatly.

Haha, win. Sounds like your vacation was more interesting then mine.

All I did was gorge myself on 3 heaping plates of turkey (which I didn't feel tired of), eat a variety of deserts, and sleep till 1pm the next day. That was great.

Donnie Darko is made of absolute win. I like Frank. He was awesome. Not to mention it's still a total mind F@#%, which is awesome in itself.

And you! Get more La Tale time, I'm 43 and I'm bored while farming minerals

I put all the Metroid Prime title and file select themes into one big audio file if you guys want them. :3 I just don't know if the file it self is compatable outside Windows 7 though, because it's a "Windows Audio File" or something like that that I've never heard of before.
