Thoughts on the Trickster economy

The first point in my post is the massive deflation in the economy. A few prices of things that were/are popular:
Level Up boxes were 8-10m -> 4-6m now.
Harkons 20-30m -> 4-7m now.
Blood Swords 300m+ -> 200-250m now.

There's a huge decrease in the prices of a lot of items. Now you might be thinking, "Wow, that's great, now I can finally afford some of these items." That would be true if the amount of galders being created in the economy were...

The difference between AP/HV for charm skills.

There was a debate on this in a thread, and people were debating over whether a raccoon/cat's skills are more influenced by AP or HV.

Here's a few points to settle it.
  • Raising AP by 1 point requires 1 bonus point (from level up: 4 bonus points = 4 AP)
  • Raising HV by 1 point requires 16 bonus points (from level up)
Thus assuming that you can get equivalent amounts of points of AP/HV from equips (which will not be covered in this discussion),

I like it. NTreev gets two thumbs up from me for introducing the halloween event maps, which are super aoe friendly. They fill a long absence of gaps of AoE friendly maps since virtually the only place left to train AoE really efficiently is the phantom school classrooms.

Next, the event quests give fairly substantial TM experience. This helps mitigate the lagging TM levels a lot.

Even though the stats on the event items stink, this patch gets two thumbs up for the...

Why the refine anvils weren't worth the money.

This post may get a little math-heavy. Bear with me, those of you averse to numbers.

Last patch, Ntreev introduced the refine anvils. The Anvils worked like this:
  • When refining from N->N+1, N+1 anvils are required to increase the refine rate. In other words, you need 2 anvils to refine to level 2, and 9 anvils to refine to level 9.
  • Anvils can only be used on refines up to level 9.
  • Anvils can't be stacked - a 5% or a 10% increase is the maximum allowed for a single
