Because reading is fun

Posted 08-03-2009 at 10:42 PM by Ascherit
Ok, I remember saying somewhere about how Wuthering Heights was a pretty decent book to read after the first few chapters or so.

Wrong.

I'm sitting here at 11:30 PM wondering how the hell can I finish the last 125 pages of this book without clipping my eyelids open in order to stay awake for the rest of the night.

Sparknotes?

Nope -- knowing the AP English teachers at my school, I know there will be some sort of book-specific free response quiz/essay waiting for me on the first day of school. And they will DEFINITELY be comparing everyone's summer journal assignments with what sparknotes has to say.

Although honestly, I'm willing to risk being caught using said website if I can save my eyes from eternal damnation from reading something in an English dialect that no one uses anymore.

tl;dr

Screw Wuthering Heights. I'm going to sparknotes.

    Like I said on Facebook ... sparknotes = <3
Also, my AP Teachers say that it's a good idea to utilize sources like Sparknotes and stuff, but only if you have actually read the book, or are reading it co-currently. It actually helps makes more sense from what you're reading.

(Also, this yellow font = </3 to my eyes. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TYPING.)
