An New Year

I didn't get paid any overtime from working closing shift on New Year's Eve. At least getting drunk on Smirnoff that night was worth it. For the lulz.

I also got a minimum wage raise from $8.07/hr to $8.55/hr meaning that's about an extra $20 per 40 hours worked each week before tax.

So I don't really mind the lack of holiday pay.

$1000 earned and invested into savings this payroll; just keep truckin'.

Hours seem to have gotten cut just a bit, but I imagine that would be so because I'm getting paid more than anyone else who works there.

2 week break with Gati is coming up in another 3 weeks. I can't wait to kick back and spend some quality time with her. It's been 8 months since we last seen each other, and everything is going strong.

I'm planning an engagement with her this spring during her visit here. /big announcement I'm a bit nervous, even though I know she will accept, but it's a big step for myself to take. Yeah, it's early for this and we've been together about a year and a half but I know what I want.

I started playing Atlantica Online and it is very entertaining. I'm going to become a Content Manager for Atlantica Online over Wakfu. I've got a Level 29 Sword main going strong in 4 days of play. I'll post more details in the Atlantica Online blog as time goes, so check there for that.
