Two posts, in a week? It's more likely then you think!

Hah! Had you going there right? Oh man, I love messing with you guys. It's actually been a week and a half

So I think with school starting again I'm gonna be getting back to all my old poisons, one of which involve trolling the blob posts and entertaining whoever is bored/crazy/<insert... > enough to read it. Keep in mind that when I write these, I'm always thinking about how I can bring a smile to a hunk of cheese.

So I've just finished a huge fleet crash on 'astroempires'. It's absurd how addicted to that game I am. I think I play it more for the social interaction, or maybe because it's very math oriented, and I love math. Yeah that's right, I admitted to liking math, get your sticks and stones out!

Anyway, on to the blip. Let me show you something for lulz

What I imagine in my head

It was the first result for 'epic space battle' in google

Ok, now ignore the fact that it's Star Craft 2 for like, a minute or something and look below.

What it is in actuality

Huh... not quite as epic anymore...

I think I figured out why I'm so interested in it. Because it's a damn giant spread sheet game! AND I LOVE MATH! ARGHHHHHHHHHHH *foaming mouth*

Ok, now that I'm done drooling (yeah, that foam happens from time to time), let's move on to another subject.

I've decided to possibly pick up writing on some stories that I started writing but stopped because my english teacher during senior year wasn't really into my preferred genre.

Well, that was only part of it. Another thing is that he placed A LOT of focus on imagery. Now I'm one of those people that can clearly picture what I see in my head, but when it comes to putting it to words, I think I'd have more fun trying to wrestle a bull with molten horns and have it try to stab me. Wait, that's not fun

Anyway, my school of thought with writing has always been to create a vivid and imaginative plot, not this bullshit imagery that I was forced to work on.

Seriously, which do you care more for in a scene?
  • The wind blowing across the field, making a scene of someone shaking out a quilt as the wind rolls over the grass
  • The guy who's been impaled in the tree with a message carved into the tree "Never will you wrong me again"

Personally, I'm more for the 2nd one. I think you can get people more interested with a plot then describing the buildings or whatever the hell you imagine your scene taking place in.

Sorry, have to interject this since it just popped up on my iPod. Sad song makes me depressed now

Anyway, yeah. So I'm debating whether to work on part of my series of fan-fics that I had from a long time ago, or working on a series I tried to work completely from the ground up. I'm thinking of second one, since whenever I listen to my music I can only think of making a plot for that one, so I guess I'll do that one.

What? You thought I'd give you a poll?

What's next... oh yeah, the last thing.

Normal things I don't like relating too!

...damn, that doesn't sound interesting. Oh well, DEAL!

1) I finally got a car

Is it bad that I'm 18 and I only got a car yesterday? Partly because I never gave a damn about going anywhere, so I was in no rush to get a car. I wasn't like my brothers, didn't really have any DIRE URGE to get a car aside from having it to get to/from places instead of having to rely on my parents and their horrible time skills... *shudders*

2) School starts Monday for me.

I'm conflicted, part of me says "yeah! school!" and the other part says "wtf? are you stupid cheeriness? sit down and punch yourself!" And then that part responds with "ok!" and proceeds to punch itself. It's a love/hate relationship I think.

3) ...

There was supposed to be something else here but I can't remember. I think my memory is going and dying. Like... something that goes and dies. Like dragonflies! That works, right? Hell yes it does.

Ok, I think I'm gonna do something before I do something to make you guys hate me even more. Like... sleep? Bah, hell if I know. I don't think I'm in a state of mind to be doing rational things at all right now.

imagery isn't just like describing a rock using as many words as you can. you can easily incorporate it in the genre you prefer without it being boring. \o/

Eh, imagery has ever been a strong point for me in writing, I've always been more interested in just writing a story for a plot
