Suggestion on haircut

Alright so yeah like i been noticing my hair is getting more annoying to deal with as i delay the dreaded hair cutter appointment i can cut hair myself but i cannot do a proper job on myself due to the fact that i can't rip my eyes out and co ordinate with my hands like i would on a customer.

Any suggestions on what i should get?

Uhh, well I personally like long-ish hair on guys, but if it's annoying, just get a little trim? Maybe an inch or so.

I was thinking of getting this with the highlight too since black and blond look good as i have used it before but im scared it might not work due to my natural wavey hair.

Whatever you do, DON'T get a buzz cut. :< My Asian guy friends get them once every semester and it changes their appearance dramatically. I like the second picture hairstyle, but if it's too long, you can always trim it and retain its style.

im gonna do a faux hawk i already cut my middle bang piece off so might aswell go all short and grow a new batch of hair

plus i wanna grow more hair too because my current hair took like half a year of straightener heat so i dont wanna fry them any more.

I like flat hair on guys. Spiked hair is just too...meh. ): Imo, it's over-done and it looks bad on most guys.

Cut 2 inches off the front and 1 inch off the side. Or 4/2, 4/3. Perhaps use a bit of gel to style it into a wavy kind of look.
