In the beginning, there were two domains- Utgard and Asgard.
Utgard was the land of the demons, who were once denizens of Asgard but were banished aeons ago.
Asgard is the domain of the gods and angels who serve them.
The two lands didn't interfere with eachother and there was peace... Untill the demons attacked. They overran Asgard and sent the denizens into panic. The gods, out of desperation, sacrificed themselves to create beings forbidden to tread this world unless during dire times.

Black feathers blanketed the ground as these black-winged reapers entered the battle, their diviners striking fear into the enemies who tread before them. The sky turned dark and soon the air smelled of only two things:
The scent of burning metal and blood.
RP THREAD
Newcomers, feel free to pop in at any time in the actual RP. Its up to you to catch up to where we are, though.
Oh yes, forgot to mention. This happens BEFORE the game's events. To be more precise, during Ragnarok.
The war is taking place mainly in Asgard, but some battles are fought in Utgard too.
Oh yes, the races in this RP fall in three categories: Demons, Sprites, and Angels.
The sprites are sort of like humans and generally friendly magical beings. They're similar to demons, but tend to stay neutral and wish to stay out of the affairs of the demons and gods. A large amount of them are enslaved by demons during the events of this RP.
The demons are pretty much teh guys trolling everyone here. They enslave sprites, pillage places, and troll gods. They tend to be more blood thirsty then sprites (but are quite similar to them appearance wise.. for the most part).
The Grim Angels are the guys counter trolling the demons, but they don't really like sprites all that much and most consider them to be no different then demons... They follow the wishes of the Gods.
There are also normal angels too, they're just kinda like... civilians pretty much.
here's some links which can help you out on the specifics: Lacrima Castle shows the demon races and well bosses but we dont care about the bosses Lacrima Castle character portraits of pretty much everyone.
Sprites can look just like humans, elves, or all teh crazy things starting at the old man's portrait to when the greyscale ones start.
There is no real limit too how many people can join in asides from what you would think is too many common sense wise.
Also, for this RP feel free to go into some romantic relationship if it's okayed with someone else. I don't really care if its hetero or homo.
You can also just reuse your old characters too, just somehow incorperate them into the RP's world (reincarnation, universe hopping, conveniently there...). Just be creative o/
for now, lets just kinda discuss who's gonna join and such I guess
Lyude - Village Elder
A strict, elderly sprite with a pair of thin horns which resemble branches adorned on his head, but sports a pair of rounded ears. He is quite passionate about the village, and only thinks of its well being.
He's xenophobic towards demons and angels.
His character is strict, biased towards sprites, yet knowledgeable and wise. He has a short temper, though.
Mira - Inn Keeper
A shy, quiet woman who takes care of the small (yet growing) inn. She's terrible with cooking so she has an assistant hired to cook the meals. She's easily flustered but will listen to what you have to say.
She has a pair of reddish wings on her back and her hair appears to be made up of feathers rather then actual hair. Her feet are talons (like a bird).
Her character is quiet, shy, yet caring.
Momo - Villager
A little girl around seven years old, she's more knowledgable then she appears to be and seems to have a good understanding about the events going on in the world. She still has a deep curiousity on things like a typical child. She looks just like a human, but is, of course, a sprite.
Her character is knowledgable and a bit snooty, yet curious and a tad eccentric.
Ariel - Inn Assistant
The one who cooks all the meals at the Inn. She's always in a rush and always frets over if her cooking is any good or not. She actually is a pretty good cook. Nervous and tends to overdo things, its obvious that this woman needs to stop and take a few deep breaths slowly.
Her character is nervous, oblivious to people around her (mainly focusing on her cooking and stuff), and worries over things a lot. She is Momo's older sister and looks fairly similar to her.
Barri - Bartender/Bar keeper
He owns the small bar. He also listens to people's problems, but unlike Mira he'll tell you his opinion on your problems, either you like it or not. He's skilled in brewing different wines and beer, and even has a few original creations of his own. Applecot wine(which he made/invented) is really popular in the village.
His character is extremely blunt, and tends to act like an *******, but he's really not that bad.
Kael - Village Healer
A young boy in his early teens. Despite his appearance, he's actually really skilled with using herbs and healing magic. He likes to learn about new herbs and is seen studying or out in the woods, collecting herbs. He's a young sprite who has long, pointed ears.
His character is introverted, curious, and seems to have a bit of formality to him.

Mia Marina
A childhood friend of Evis. She is quite a spirited person and gets irritated quite easily. She has a large knowledge of herbs and medicine which she learned from her mother. She also has experience with healing magic. She works part-time with her father at the famous Flooded Flagon inn/bar. She also makes medicine/drugs when requested by Evis.
She has green hair and eyes, a kind face and wears a long leather dress with a frilly white blouse underneath.
Age:16
Jack Marina
He is loud, boisterous and large. But he is a generally friendly guy. He runs the Flooded Flagon with his beloved daughter, Mia. He is also very fond of Evis, who he treats as if he was his own son. It seems as if he knew Evis' "grandfather"...
Unlike his wife and daughter, he has short orange hair and blue eyes. He is clean-shaven and wears a brown-ish t-shirt and blue pants. He is often seen with a rapier at his side.
Age:43
Note:Sabrina Marina (Jack's wife and Mia's mother) died of poor health and a weak body around the age of 37, around the time Mia was still 11/12.
Both know of Evis' circumstances, but are close friends regardless. On his grandfather's death, Jack had offered to adopt Evis, but Evis refused. Knowing the occupation and character of Evis, both sides know that it's not an idea to get too attached to each other. Regardless, Evis visits them frequently to get medicines and drugs made for him.

Ludovic Doireann
age: Unknown, but it is known that he's over one thousand years old.
He is the one who owns the magical cottage, as well as its large collection of books stored iside.
Nobody in Utgard has seen any demons like him before (foxes with nine tails). People say he's a very rare and ancient species of fox demon, whereas others think he isn't even from this world to begin with. He is very proficient with all offensive magics (including the elements) as well as summoning, however he is terrible with support magic. He tends to throw in witty comments every now and then, and is very knowledgable about the world they live in. It's said he's even been to Asgard before too. He knows a lot about Akaiito, and seems to be close friends with him.
Everytime Kai comes over, he locks up all the booze... Though sometimes even when he does that, Kai manages to get into it still.
People call him Ludo for short.
Serenity Doireann
age: 134
The quiet and serene step daughter of Ludo. She often is the one who cleans around the house and watches over it while Ludo us gone on his travels. People sometimes say that she's not just nice, but out of it. Even after knowing Kai for most of her life, she tends to forget to lock up the booze...
She is actually a cross between demon and sprite, but introduces herself as a demon.
Name: Cecillia Gran
Age: 15
Appearance: Long, silky red hair that she wear's down to her waist. She wears a wide-brimmed witches hat with frills. She usually wears various normal dresses though with frilly parts added (imagine less flashy Victorian style). She's also quite pretty and has an innocent face, indeed she would have been the target of many men in Elendia if it wasn't for her step-brother. (BREASTS ARE AN AVERAGE C)
Personality: She's bubbly. Quite a naive person, she's very childish and clumsy. She's not very good at work and tends to rely on her step-brother a lot, but she always tries hard to do things herself. Likes cute things.
Backstory: Her parents were killed when she was 2, too young to even remember them. She was taken to Tetyth, where her grandfather offered to take care of her. Around that time, he had also taken in a young orphan boy, about a year older than her. The two were quite close, a real brother sister relationship. When her grandfather died, she was taken in by some relatives in Elendia, where she has lived up to now, but her brother was left out. That boy was Evis Cross.
Currently she lives in Elendia as a part-time doctor and herbalist, she looks up to Mia [-nee] for her experience in that field, and frequently exchanges letters with her whenever possible. But her real interest is magic. Even though Elendia is famous for it's anti-demon views, she frequently leaves the town to visit Ludovic for magic lessons and a chance to use the library.

Makoto Yuuki
Age: 201 (looks 20)
Height: 5'11
Appearance: Similar face and eyes as his younger brother. He has long golden hair, though it has more brown in it. He wears it in a long braid. He wears a military uniform.
BIO: the head of the Yuuki family in Chokma. With the death of the old master (their uncle) he took over the house. He is a leader in the Imperial Army and is often out on duty. He's the youngest master of his own estate in the area. He is cool, handome, takes shit from no one, and generally is EVERYTHING GRANDISON WISHES TO BE~!
Miaka Yuuki
Age: 17
Height: 5'4
Appearance: Miaka has dark chocolate eyes and platinum blonde hair. There is a deep contrast between her hair and eyes. Her eyes are like a BOTTOMLESS ABYSS. lol anyway her hair is really curly and she wears it in two pig tails (like candy candy). She dresses in an outfit that pretty much matches Grandison's. The difference is that instead of pants she wears a frilly dress with petticoats. Her boots are knee high. Also she has a huge white bow on her breast instead of the carvat of Grandison.
BIO: The daughter of the old master. Her father died only a few years ago in the war. Being young as she was she was put under the care of her cousin Makoto. Since he was usually at war though she spent recent years with Grandison at the other estate. It was only recently that they deemed her able to stay in Chokma. She's usually alone with a house full of servants so to fight cabin fever she love to explore the city. She is a regular at Kai's family restaurant.
Derf and Luap
Ages: 22 and 21
Height: 6'1 and 5'10
Appearance: Plain looking sprites. They both have pointed ears and brown hair. In fact they're so plain people confuse them as each other. They both also have brown eyes.
BIO: Butlers in the Yuuki household. Derf at the Chokma manor and Luap at the country estate. Luap was supposed to be watching Grandison the day he disappeared from the estate. Scared to death of his promised death of returning home without the young lord, he feigned going on a trip with Grandison in the city to visit dear Miaka. Now in the city he has secretly enlisted Derf's help in finding Grandison before the family figures out what's really going on!
Shiro Kagamiya
age: looks 12~14 (is really around 1000+ years old)
Appearance: She has snow white hair and even her eyes are pure white. Like most succubi, she lacks horns. She is 4'10 tall
personality: She's really absent minded and quiet, and you could even say she seems robotic. The only person she only shows affection for is Kai, her father. She enjoys making ripples in ponds and lakes as well as walking outside on rainy days. Loves spicy foods.
backstory: Like most of the Kagamiyas, not much is known about her. No one really knows why she is stuck with the body of a child asides from Kai and Kana. She is also an acomplished assassin like her father but she is never give such tasks. For fighting, her forte is using dual blades.
Yu Kagamiya
age: looks 25 or so (is 570 or so years older then Kai)
Appearance: he looks more mature then both Kana and Kai, and is around 6'6 tall. His hair goes down to his back and is usually tied up in a ponytail. The end of said ponytail is dyed red. His hair is the same colour as Kana's. His eyes look more golden then Kai and Kana's (they lack the red).
Personality: Kai's older brother. Uptight and usually unwilling. He is almost the complete opposite of Kai attitude wise. They both end up fighting a lot (both verbal and physical) and can generally not stand eachother. Yuu still respects his brother though for being able to handle his position the way he does without slipping up.
Backstory: He takes care of all the expenses for the Restaurant, as well as calculating payments and such when it comes to money for assassination jobs in the Kagamiya family. For fighting, his forte is explosives and traps.
Aika Kagamiya
age: looks 25 or so (700 or so years older then Kai)
appearance: She has shoulder length light-lavender hair, eyes the same colour as Yuu's, and is about 5'6 tall. She isn't as voluptious as her younger sister, but its not like she tries to either. She actually has a pair of horns, but they're small. She's one of the older generation cubi.
personality: The cosplayer of the Kagamiyas, she enjoys costumes and the like. She likes to wear all sorts of costumes for when she's shapeshifting. Hyperactive and fun loving, she's often out of town doing all sorts of things like robberies with her lover.
backstory: She is often out of town and is never around, but is usually robbing people with Nicholas Valentino. She fights using whips and a bit of magic.
Nicholas Valentino
age: looks 30 or so (real age unknown)
appearance: He's an incubus from one of the allianced cubi families. He has short, reddish brown hair and red eyes. He is around 6'1 tall. His horns are in a different style from the Kagamiya incubi horns ( his look more like a deer's antlers).
personality: Aika's partner in crime and lover, he does all sorts of robberies with Aika while wearing ridiculous disguises and somehow getting away from it all. Just as funloving as Aika, he is also known to be one of Kai's good drinking partners. He isn't as much of a alcoholic as he is, though.
backstory: As one of the cubi from the allianced families, he is also an assassin. His family isn't as powerful as the Kagamiyas though, but they are their loyal followers and have been for thousands of years. 'Nick' prefers to use rapiers and crossbows.

Age - 1,392
Height - 6'3
Appearacene - A demon with a full head of red hair and two tubby horns that pop up from his mop of hair. He keeps them filed because otherwise they grow unruly. He wears a uniform that looks like Makoto's but it's white. He has a muscular physique.
BIO - The head of the ship. He actually works under Makoto though. His ship was on orders to go the heaven's gate when Makoto's orders reached him to come back and pick up an extra load. He's a nice easy going guy. Very easy to get along with and his crew love him.
Sylvie
Age - 879
Height - 5'5
Appearance - Short green hair cut in a bob. Her eye brows are merely two small tufts of green. She has golden cat eyes. Wears white uniform with less badges than Admiral
BIO - The 2nd in command. She is quiet and speaks only when spoken to.

Occupation: Commander of the Einherjar (Anyone who died and is brought back to fight in Ragnarok)

Appearance: Long violet hair, gray eyes, wearing a black light armor with white trim.
Personality: Very serious and somewhat strict, dutiful and responsible.
Wields the long bow Rhyis as her diviner. Sacrificed her memories prior to becoming a Grim Angel to become one.
Akira Kagamiya
Gender: Male
Age: 66
Occupation: A Lieutenent Commander in the demon militia. He joined in on the army infiltration plan with a handful of other cubi.
Race: Incubus
Appearance: He looks like he's around 17. He has the same eyes as his father (Akaiito) and face but his hair is black. His hair is fairly short (but nothing like a buzz cut or something). He stands at 5'10. He hasn't started growing in horns yet (which is actually normal for Kagamiya incubi).
He studied magic under Ludovic Doireann but he's only very proficient in using Lightning and Water magic. He outfits his bullets with magic and can use some spells outside of that. He also has some martial arts knowledge, too.
He's a very sarcastic character who is quick to shoot down anyone's hopes (except a few people). He likes to mess with people's minds when he's bored enough and is very cocky.
Claire Chevalier-Jolicoeur
Gender: Female
Age: 398
Occupation: A Brigadier General in the demon militia. She joined the army infiltration mission right when the war began.
Race: Succubus
Appearance: She has long, chestnut brown hair and matching eyes. Her face is heartshaped and she stands at about 5'5. She looks like she's around 20 years old.
A woman who is very serious when it comes to the war and the truth behind it, she is determined to assist in any way possible to end it. She can be demanding and selfcentered, but also motherly. She uses a rapier in battle and is also proficient in healing magic. She starting learning fencing at the age of 7.
You guys are free to create more villager npcs as you see fit.

i wanted my guy to be a really young demon who still has a lot to learn about the world. but the thing is i didn't know how demons aged. so if he's 17 in our years would he have to look 12?
