I was thinking about setting it up on the 31st, but it would be on Halloween and I don't think I'll be online anyway. But, I'll be pushing for a next week Saturday event for us to do a Maus run and I hope you'll all join us. A small band of Moogles tested the GD and it wasn't too bad, just need a little bit more people.

We'll aim for a 8:00pm PST / 11:00pm EST unless otherwise. Be sure to check out Frosty's guide on Maus if you haven't heard of it. I have a book for 2F, so it shouldn't be as bad as our suicide run :P. Expect an in-game mail as a reminder.

And If we end up not having enough people, we'll try to run an alternative GD. If there isn't a ND at 5:00pm PST and there happens to be a good handful around that time, we could also do a GD that's not Maus, maybe Snake for the new members that joined us (if they're high enough).

I'm in. I can play a lot after this weekend until the end of the month.

On the 24th I'm either working or volunteering to serve food at some youth charity banquet. If I'm home in time for the run, I'll try to be there.

Finally a day where I can be fully available, as it seems right now.

The 'suicide run' was composed of Boomy, Rip, Alundra, yours truly, and a kitchen utensil to make char kway teow. I still say we would have cleared the last floor if we didn't do the bonus room AND make two key mistakes;

1) Was 'moving back'. We made the mistake of 'backing off'. The mobs do not agro until you go near em, then the agro range is huge. Once they start chasing they will chase you till they get you.

2) Trying to tag the Generals of Eternity first. I believe Frosty's guide was more written with more ppl in mind. With less ppl we should have left well enough alone and headed straight for the back to drop the tower/gates first.

FWIW, the 2nd floor without the book has mobs that hit at Ghost Ship strength level. Which is frankly not too bad at all. The 3rd floor is at that exact same level, and the book DOES NOT reduce damage on the 3rd floor. I believe the book can be permanently skipped as clearing the bonus room does not award any extra boxes.

Poor Rip and his sword... vaporised, ahhhh...

We were doing fine until the gate got oneshotted..baww.

I guess on 3F we need teams to drop the towers and gate asap, as well as someone to defend our own gate, and a few trash mob parties. That should cut it for a really smooth run.

The monsters aren't really hard at all.. except maybe the 2F gate (seems to hit quite hard) and the miniboss on 3F. The annoying thing about 2F is the massive AP drain `-`

Well anyhow, I should be able to come. Can't confirm yet though.

1F and 2F, ppl can do anything they want as it's easy. 3F we'll need the following plan;

1) Tower teams make a beeline for the back and hit the towers/gates ASAP.
2) Trash teams start clearing the mobs around the Generals of Eternity, considering how many there are there's no fear of getting hit by the General.
3) Once tower/gates are down, strongest tower team tags the Imperial Witch before she goes oneshotting the other teams, other tower team starts taking out the Generals of Eternity.

That should pretty much be it really. Another thing i should mention is that for our weaker trash teams it would be ideal to assign a 'looter' role in the party of 3. The weakest member of the party will have the role of simply looting mobs. Why? Prevents the auto resurrections. For trash teams the absolute worst thing to happen is to have a mob resurrect on you, especially they res at full life.

Count me in for the duration. I'll be on a lot for the next two weeks, I'm hoping to get up to 100 by halloween. Only about 2 more levels to go.

I'll try to get on by that time.
