I know it's been a while, but we're overdue for an official GD run. So in thanks to Kyo's smooth talking, we were able to purchase a Broken Stalactite Key, which gives us access to the Golden Dragon Cave Dungeon in Central Asia! I don't really know the requirements for this GD, so I'll wait till I can get more information on it and update this post.

I'm looking at a Saturday, Sept. 26 date, to give some extra planning, especially those who are in school. Also, I'm thinking of scheduling it at around 8:00 pm PST / 11:00 pm EST so it won't conflict with a GS run. If we don't get enough people for it, then we may instead run a Marks or VoO run.

Please state if you are available or when it is an appropriate time for you below.

This GD is no Mausoleum, it's easier than Marksburg in terms of number of mobs, and easier than VoO in terms of mob strength. So, bring your **** and balls 20 mins after the posted run time, fail to read up about the encounter on AO Wiki, and forget to bring mana potions, you'll be fine.

(kudos to anyone who gets the joke, and there is no entry on AO wiki).

Ok, seriously, it's a standard GD... If it moves kill it, if it's still moving throw Miyoo at it. Reward is a box where you can obtain a Sealed Dragon's Fang at low rate. I hope many ppl sign up for this as this is a run we CANNOT do often due to the fact the keys are only made available to the guild that holds Chongqing.

Minimum required level to not get cooked: 80+ in lvl80 gear.
Recommended level to do some cooking: 90+ in full lvl90 gear.

Anyone under lvl100 will be partied. Anyone lvl100+ but with all mercs not in full lvl97 gear +4 or better will also be partied. Anyone lvl100+ with all mercs 100+ or all mercs in full 97 +4 gear or better will be able to run solo.

tl;dr = If you can solo run in VoO, you're soloing here.

Maus is apparently the hardest dungeon I think.. GDC is supposed to be easier (lvl. 95 ish requirement? not too sure).

According to the timing it's like a Sunday morning for me. I should be able to make it cause it's my midterm break that week.

Edit: Kyo beat me to it. Anyhow......how the hell you managed to get the key mang?!

How i get it? I talked to the leader of ExcubitorMysteria. Then he made me wait for 2+ weeks until he 'deigned to spare us one'... bastard. Bidspike the town next i swear... *grumblegrumble*.

The 26th is an ideal date for me, i have work and family related commitments for 3 weeks afterwards. That weekend of the 26th, for me, is a long weekend so yeah, ideal.

Activity in general is on the floor lately.

No pics of the first floor due to me and Boomy forgetting to take any... So i snapped a few after. Most are of the latter floors. Note this dungeon has reinforcing towers, but no gates. All in all, a rather pleasant challenge as if you attempt to take down the main tower (Broken Stalactite) without downing the other two, the thing can hit for over 20k damage through 40k def. I found out the hard way T.T

All in all, very successful run, and extremely fun! Well done Moogles for clearing this. I'll be trying to get us another key so we can do it again, watch this space!
