I originally used Final Cut to edit the film but it turns out the college would be closed on that Wednesday. So everything was transferred into a trial version of Sony Vegas, which may have contributed to the compressed sound at some points of the film and the size is surprisingly small at 300MB.
There's a number of stuff that was cut, such as a dream sequence and a title sequence; as well as incoporating German expressionist influences which in the end was abandoned for a post-Dogme 95 aesthete. (I'm still hanging onto the idea of a surrealist sitcom adaptation though.)
In the end, I'm still pretty mixed on my feelings towards my first proper short film. Prior to this, I had two one minute films on my belt, so I was definitely inexperienced throughout pre-production and production.
