Decided to share the render from the last image, which I pulled from the iDOLM@STER Break! manga:



As you can see, its not great quality. But it can always be fixed, as I showed above :v

I'm tellin' ya man, Mawaru Penguindrum is the new hype. I'll probably stick with my Miki avatar since I like it a lot, but I'm gonna be using a Penguindrum sig and setting up my profile that way too :v

Welp, after showing some stuff to people last night, I decided to post a few more things with what I've been doing IRL:

This is a print I did almost a year ago. Graffiti octopus :v

This is a teapot that I'm working on currently. Taking a traditional Japanese style and putting a number of twists on it. Definitely looking forward to glazing, I wanna see how it comes out when its completely done. It's certainly not perfect (not even close), but I'm satisfied so far. The pot itself is a little too weighted still, and I still have another attachment to make, but I like where it's going.

These last 3 are fairly old, but they've all contributed a lot to my art school career (LOL, I KNOW RIGHT). I actually make use of the concepts frequently, though. Also narwhals, though I don't have a picture of that handy right now.

Okay so, my upcoming project is this:

I'm going to be building a model atomic bomb (Fat Man style) out of wood.



Once the structure is built, I'm going to be either painting it white, or applying a clear coat finish mixed with white acrylic paint (so the wood grain will show through) and then spraying the whole thing down with a fixative (to give the thing some friction). From that point, I'm going to suspend it in midair (much thanks to the new installation room at FSU) and have classmates (and any other willing participants) "bomb" the bomb (by tagging it with either spraypaint or colored sharpies, undecided so far).

I'll start the photo documentation tomorrow, so look forward to it.

Alright, didn't grab any photos of the progress I made today on the bomb project. My fault.

HOWEVER, I've sketched up a working logo for my group for convention/events management. The group is unnamed as of now, so the box is just a placeholder for text.



This is likely not going to be the final logo, but I thought it was interested (read as: ****ing hilarious) enough to warrant a post here. Pardon the image quality, it's a cellphone picture.

From this point, I've just gotta take an angle grinder and work it down to the right shape, and then attach the wings to the bottom of it. Then, I'll get to attach the stuff to hang it with, and voila :v
