I need your feedback! This is now going to be my sig since I love it so much.

Oh no! The white background is showing up! Its not supposed to be there! I still have work to do.

I can't fix the white background part because it seems photobucket keeps putting it there =/ so I guess its just going to have to do

But I really don't like how they look with white backgrounds and the post thing is another color

Oh that. I had it transparent and saved it just like that but It didn't work. OH WAIT! jpg can't do transparency! I think it needs to be gif >.< well I already saved it and can't change it now. I will just make a new one with some other girl later and make it gif

Open gif in ps ,then save again and save it as png :3

Thats a really well done sig. I love it <3. You need to trim it down, so the white rectangle around it doesn't show.

You should always save your work in .psd format before proceeding to save it into .png.

.gif takes quality away. Sometimes, you can't see it, but it does. :<
.jpg is probably the worst. Never save it into .jpg.

Lol everyone assumes I use photoshop...but I use GIMP even though I have Photoshop but yea good advice Charmander. I did that for a few things but not things I thought I would work on again. png saves it crystal clear and is larger file size than jpg and I mostly save as jpg since none of my work needs to be viewed crystal clear but thanks for the tips guys Im going to work on my next one now.

When using PS, you can save it for a web or something like that.
It should be under the option "Save As.."
You can save the file as a png 8.
Which, would preserve the quality, just like .png, but it's file size would be smaller. Significantly smaller.

It'd be best if you saved it in png8.

Here's what I do when it come to these kind of signatures. I'm not sure if it'll help though, seeing that I use PS. ^^; But I hope it will, haha~ D8

1) If you haven't done it yet, merge all your layers in one. (Click on merge visible)

2) If your background is not yet transparent, then delete the white parts with the rectangle tool and then hit the delete key. Or you can use brushes to clean it up too, but that's not really recommended. :x (And check whether you have a background layer that's locked after your merged layers. If there is one, then delete that background layer)

3) After that, you can do all the fancy things in your signature now. Like, drop shadow and etc. C:

4) Once you are satisfied, save it as .PNG file and it will show you: "None" and "Interlaced". Click on "Interlaced", and off you go! (The background will be transparent now) :3

And yep, you can use the "Save as Web and blahblahblah" to reduce the kb of the signature, but yet you'll have a high quality signature as before. This helps when a site/forum has implanted a max. kb for siggy's. <3

Anyway, your signature looks nice imo. :] But seeing that the anime girl is big herself, I don't think that it'll fit with the text because it's small compared to it. (Sorry, only an opinion) If you want to change colors, I would recommend playing with curves, photo filter and color balance around. Also, hue helps a lot too! Others would play with gradient, but I dislike it, haha. x___x;(All PS)

Lol, it worked before too, its just that you needed to trim the sig a bit was all
