I didn't notice you draw John there until now, I'll have to say I've never seen him quite so mysterious, that prankster.

Otherwise, you always get me with your time transitions, and you always remind me you can better at anything with practice. I always look forward to what you will draw next.

Thank you! Yeah, I amaze myself sometimes too @_@ but practice definitely helps. One of the best things I ever did to facilitate my skills was taking requests on MyTrickster and here :> a lot of artists aren't particularly keen on taking requests (mostly because they have their own ideas of what they want to draw) but I think as a developing artist it's totally helpful to do so. At least it is for me since I get artists' block a whole lot and I just get stumped on what to draw very often. When I don't take requests it's usually because I'm genuinely busy with life/hw/classes.

Yep! I'm currently taking a beginner class right now so all I know so far is the alphabet and very slow fingerspelling.

I did the background in photoshop so it was a combination of shapes, layer masking patterns, and using a lace brush for the border. If you want to know specifics I don't mind explaining in detail.

I love drawing scarves :> and it's definitely not because they give me an excuse to not draw the neck/upper shoulders

For the heck of it I might I like to draw sets of pictures that relate to one another. Like counterparts and whatnot. One of my OCs has a twin and whenever I draw one of them I always feel the need to draw the other in the same style/setting.

I swear every time you draw food, it's like borderline food porn. I don't know how you are able to dabble in such detail without having yourself quell in at least a shallow hunger as inspiration. I cannot imagine even wanting to draw food without such drive dwelling within me from the thought of such. Otherwise, I would feel as though I'm drawing simple background imagery.

Though, whenever you draw food, it tends to be colorful.
