OP and ED's are out... somewhere... I'll post later if I can find em.

Believe RAWs or web streams are out or something since people already be talking bout Ep1.

Definitely looking forward to this one, especially since it's linked to Chaos;Head somehow.

RoflKnife 04-03-2011 12:27 PM

Only link is same setting I think, no real impact on the story. But supposed to be good, and has TIME TRAVEL. You know what that means, GUARANTEED AWESOME PLOT.

Joey 04-03-2011 12:45 PM

This is one of my most anticipated for the season. Dat art man, dat art. Kurisu rabu.

Shnao 04-03-2011 12:54 PM

I should /probably/ watch Chaos;Head first then watch this.

Don't do it mang, the anime sucks tons of shit. Either read it, or don't touch it at all.

Nihil679 04-03-2011 03:15 PM

The only real link is that they're the same company as far as visual novel goes really, no impact at all.

Looking forward to watching it since I don't think the visual novel is translated yet. Or probably will be anytime soon (how sad).

Lol, its mind fu*k for like 2~3 episodes then the entire series falls off a cliff. Not really worth the watch.

Ep1 webcast is also out, its really low quality though, 400p i believe. 720p will be out tuesday, according to the post i read.

Nihil679 04-03-2011 09:30 PM

Apparently, it either aired early or it's a "preview" episode.
Steins;Gate by UTW-Mazui subs is out. I'll watch tomorrow morning, watching Fight for Relief stream.

Eden 04-03-2011 09:34 PM

Tempted, but being a quality *****, I'll wait until the TV air.

Joey 04-03-2011 10:39 PM

Yeah I'm just gonna wait for Tuesday too. Should be a quick release since it's all translated, they just have to put the script on the 720p.

Henreh 04-04-2011 12:14 AM

I've seen plenty of anime that were completely random and this one just topped the list after 1 ep. Might be a slow starter but was kinda boring with all that random dialogue (for those who aren't science minded fyi).

Nihil679 04-04-2011 03:54 AM

I thought it was interesting (though I say that for every anime, take it with a grain of rice... or salt... or however the saying goes). Gives me the impression they got most of it straight out of the visual novel.

Damn episode cut off where it got interesting too.

Wen 04-04-2011 09:10 AM

Episode 1 confused the hell out of me. Didn't have a strong hook or anything. I'll give it another go for week 2 and see if it does anything; if not, gonna drop it.

Nakigahara 04-04-2011 02:54 PM

I've been waiting for this to come out! I'll be waiting a bit longer though since I wanna watch it in dat 720p.

Joey 04-04-2011 03:10 PM

I caved and downloaded the LQ version. It's pretty hard to follow right off the bat, but in context that makes perfect sense. It's a show about time-traveling (kinda) so not being easy to grasp immediately makes sense.

Beyond that, the humor is pretty good.

I'll definitely be following this show, and I'll be re-watching it tomorrow when the HQ version is out. It seems promising, and is still near the top of my priority list for this season.

Metty 04-05-2011 02:59 PM

Just watched it. Had some comical lines and oh god the mind****ery.

Ian 04-05-2011 05:47 PM

I laughed.

Paul 04-06-2011 12:21 PM

Liking this series so far, Mayuri seems like a really fun character too.

Metty 04-06-2011 01:35 PM

I just saw on Sankaku (more like lolkaku) the headline "Steins;Gate = Serious anime with plot" or something like that... I couldn't help but laugh considering how the first episode wasn't really serious at all.
