Reading Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko currently. It's novelized form is similar to Bakemono with the constant references and word play, but it has more flow to the overall story compared to Bakemono, which is mostly on conversations.
I don't quite know what to expect, since it is done by Shaft. Will we get to see powerpoint slides like Bakemono? I don't really feel it is suitable. However, the powerpoint style is suitable for the word plays and references, so I don't really know.
Whether it will be amazing will be another story. It's interesting at the moment (halfway into vol 2), but I still can't quite grasp the direction which the novel is heading. It seems to be some romance/slice-of-life/"sci-fi" hybrid, but the current focus is on the romance + slice-of-life part.
It is in the top 20 novels of 2011, so... whatever.
GG subbed the PV, so check it out. Looks like some comedy/power suit anime. Quite promising.
Advertisement funded superheroes? Sounds like my cuppa.
