I thought they pretty much covered all the lose ends in the 1st series. I wonder if Season 2 will involve different characters.

somehow i wish they continue form there. lost of questions where lefted unanswered with the movie. and just making a re-do of the series with manga plot would be pushing it. (note: not a bad idea either but yeah, it would still be too confusing for non-manga readers)

I felt the answer was sufficient basing on the entire concept of alchemy the story line has given. The story turns into a dull, generic Shounen Jump shit if they keep on introducing new elements into the plot. Somethings are just better left unanswered.
