I've been reading the manga. I haven't watched much of the anime.

I think it's nice to learn more about Mistgun( or however you wanna spell his pseudonym) without directly learning more about Mistgun. >.>
I seriously wanna learn more about Mistgun though. >.> We know what he meant by "I'm Gerard, but not the Gerard you know" which he said to Erza earlier. And basically where he came from. But that's still like tip of the metaphorical iceberg obviously. I suppose we won't find out until the arc is basically finished and they sit down with him and ask questions( if that happens).
I think the story has taken a weird turn and I'm still in the "What the f***?" phase of acceptance.

I liked the part with Happy's parents though. I felt sad that he left without finding out who they were.
Also, wtf? 100 years too early for Happy to be bringing home a girl? How long do Exceed live? O.o
Mistgun seems like the ummm the other worlds Jura (or w/e its spelled). Why else would he know so much of that world?? Eksheed = dragons??
I figured that part out. Mistgun's origins. I think right now it's just heavily, heavily implied. Translations I've read have spelled it out as Gerard. I don't know if it's right or not. I can't read Japanese.

Thinking about it more. If generally things are the opposite in Edolas compared to Earthland, then I guess the opposite of dragons could be kitties.
ive been reading the manga and watching some fights in the show. i like how the arcs are short and fast paced compared to other mangas. and i like the art style, i didn't like the dude's other series Rave but his monster hunter shorts were fun except too much little kid.

Hmm... I've never heard/read it used in that way( mostly when someone says "100 years too early" it's about someone being too unskilled to win at something) so I was taking it seriously.
Expect new opening soon, its like every 12~13 episodes they do new opening with complete spoilers on the next arc which they don't even do until the next 4~5 episodes+.
Anyways, anime is somewhat slow for me right now, stopped reading manga a while ago, might go back but not now.
