I think you're a month too late, the dub is already out.. I saw it at Best Buy the other day. And the leak on the trailer was made in February. The Bandai website said in their March update it would be out in May. :3 just thought i'd letcha know.

as i've been waiting for the fad to die down.. i won't watch this.. hell i haven't even watched the Japaneses version of it yet XD;;

Most/all original animu voices sound the same.

Listening to dub tracks after having heard the Japanese voices for a while just sounds bad unless you want see how much they changed the script (voices in english and subtitles to the Japanese on the bottom).

If its animation/show/movie from insert country A here and was originally voiced in country A's language, then I usually want to watch it in it's original format (with english subtitles, if not of english origin). As an anime fan, I'm usually more rigid in this case (anime on tv I tend to try to tolerate thru).

personally, i don't like English dubs.
I'm going to give criticisms about this:

1. Voices are bad
2. They edit out Animes sooooo badly.

Going from the preview of the dub, it's actually pretty good. I came from the time when anime dubs were a complete joke (with a few great standouts like Project A-ko) and now the dub scene has really gotten good. Nowadays most folks who think their anime fan cred hinges on if they prefer dubs or not, e.g. I'M A PURIST I HAVE TO HEAR THE INFLECTIONS AND READ MY TEXT

My curiousity about this anime (and I don't watch a lot of anime) led me to watch a couple episodes on youtube with subs. My god is this the most random show I have ever watched. And that Lucky Channel with Akira....wow...XD

But about the dubs, my only criticism about 'Voice Language A' to 'Voice Language B' is that 'B' should match the emotion/acting that 'A' provided. Moreover, it seem tough for English voice actors to match the Japanese voice actors. Maybe it's the way they see the characters as. As for the Lucky Star dub, meh, could be worst. It should at least match the high-pitched, random attitude because to me it sounds...uneventful...
