MAR got...kinda disappointing in the end, all they do is summon something that's better than the other guy unless you're talking about that other manga with a similar name that I get confused with.

Rarr, I started GetBackers a few weeks ago. I got vol. 1 to 4 but no vol. 2. Also, I went to my main manga shop to buy Lovely Complex; what I did not know was that Viz changed it to Love Com.

On a brighter note, my cousin gave me the whole collector's edition of Rurouni Kenshin (although vol. 3 is missing, so I have 21 of 22).

i stopped reading hayate no gotoku.

right now the main things i collect are:

YuGiOh GX - chronicles Jaden Yuki on his quest to be king of games
Slam Dunk (just been released in the US) - chronicles a school basketball team on way to nationals
Prince of Tennis - chronicles a school tennis team on way to nationals
Dragon Drive - chronicles two boys on their quest to be best at a game
Beauty Pop - chronicles 3 boys who want to be the best stylist in the world and a girl who's reluctant to join them

Basically I like generic shounen titles... beauty pop is my exception to the rule but it still fits me "i wanna be the very best... like no one ever was" quota.

Some of my all time favs:

PetShop of Horrors - The mysterious D has a petshop selling hopes and dreams... and danger

Flowers and Bees - Masao Komatsu just wants to be an attractive guy... is that so hard to ask?

YuGiOh and YuGiOh Duelist - Yuugi is the king of games...

I have a rather large collection and can't think of what other titles i really like. Some titles I own I don't even really like... especially those I got when really young--

It can be compared to Lucky Star with samurais. Pretty good for a laugh.

Since I'm not an attention h0re like Roneen-kun, I'll just ask here:

Looking for some new manga to read / buy...
Preference:
- Preferably Shoujo.
- If Magic is included, it's nicer.
- A bit Ecchi is tolerable but please, no fan service all the way <_<.

well the only shoujo manga i read is beauty pop and it's not magical at all. it's about a high school beautician's club. but the manga ka of beauty pop, Kiyoko Arai has another series called Ask Dr. Rin! That's magical. It's feng shui based fortune teller magical girl-ish type of plot going on. Because I liked Beauty Pop I checked out this other manga of her cos it was really popular and even has a anime series. I even downloaded the anime...

but i hated it.

but that's only cos i dislike magic. most of the things i like are mostly realistic. and if they aren't realistic they have a sci fi elemnt to them only. but since you like magic and because Ask Dr Rin! Is so much more popular than Beauty Pop I think you should give it a shot.
