ONE PIECE! /shot

Umm I'd say try Soul Eater~ Lots of everything in that one.

You could also give "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" a try. One of my personal favorites

It helps if you share some of your personal favorites or genres you're looking to watch, lol.

Off the top of my head, I'll say... Go ahead and watch Arakawa Under the Bridge. And then watch Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge. The second season is better IMO, but the first season is really good too and it gives context.

Saw "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" already and yeah, it was a good one!

About Soul Eater, what do you mean by "lots of everything"?

haha.. sorry about that.. slipped my mind.. >.<

I've watched SAO, Guilty Crown, Bleach, Fairy Tale (but got tired of it somehow), Trigun, Robotics Notes and Zetsuen no Tempest. Can't remember the others and it would probably be better not to give out a lengthy list. haha..

In summary, I like action, a bit of romance maybe, comedy, and some drama from time to time.

What's Arakawa Under the Bridge about?

Fighting, Comedy, Drama, I guess you could say a little Romance too?

Quote:
Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" which is the highest title for a weapon and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

Maka & Soul Eater, Black Star & Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls, these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.
Also I know most of the people on here prefer subs, but the dub version is actually really good~

Legend of the legendary heroes
Gungrave
To Aru no Railgun and To Aru No Majustu series
Magi
Code Geass
Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann
Monogatari series
Code:Breaker
Fate/ series

This is what I recommend that suits what you said. If you liked Trigun, you'll probably like Gungrave.

Thanks for the info. The shinigami theme got me interested.
I've watched a similar anime called Bleach. I bet you also know that one. hehe..

Where do you watch dubbed versions? I mostly watch anime in animeseason.com.
I'd like to try watching dubbed ones and see how they fair with subs

I'll have a look at your recommendations, especially Gungrave.
Thanks a lot!

I've seen Gurren Lagann and aside from the corny names of their special attacks, I found it very entertaining. haha.. gotta love Yuko!

I watched Gungrave and the first episode of "A certain scientific railgun" (To Aru Kagaku no Railgun)

And here are my thoughts:

Gungrave

-Its animation really looked a lot like Trigun! Regarding the gray colored monsters (I think they were called orgmen if I remember correctly), what are they? Are they genetically enhanced or were they just made out of nowhere?

-Although the 1st ep was intriguing, I think the backstory was a bit too early. It would’ve been better to have more action in the present timeline than starting with Brandon’s backstory early into the series.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun

-First episode’s minimal yet surprising power demonstrations got me hooked instantly! It also explained a lot about the title. hahaha

-I think it would do great even without the fan service but, well, I don’t think the creator would settle for it.

-Misaka’s so cute despite the strong front she’s constantly putting up. haha

Again, thanks for those who gave their recommendations. I'm currently enjoying the animes you've suggested

They're actually showing Soul Eater on Toonami! Saturday nights at 1:00am. They've only shown the first 3 I think?

I like watching my anime in 1080p so I usually wind up downloading mine from "SPECIAL PLACES" *cough*

And where would those "SPECIAL PLACES" be? I might want to try downloading animes instead of streaming them. It's really annoying when your internet connection suddenly slows down or the streamer suddenly malfunctions. >.<

Thanks a lot for the link Mega! currently downloading To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.

If this goes well, I'll be downloading all of the other animes in my list from there.

From the top of my head, watch Fairy Tail. (It's mainstream but good)
