ggFTW Anime Club February Anime Nomination Thread
 

Okay, so as the title states, this thread is going to be for discussion of the nomination for the monthly anime show/movie for the coming month of February. Any and all reasonable shows posted here will be considered, and near the end of this month, I will post a poll with the nominations for users to vote on. The one that has the most votes after the poll closes will become the anime of the month for February.

So with all that said, please go ahead and post up your nominations for next month's show!

With that being said, I'm going to go ahead and nominate Top wo Nerae! 1 and 2 again for the month of February. I think that it's a pretty important series to watch if you want to understand the growth of Gainax in their mecha anime developmental stages. Definitely interesting nonetheless, a 10/10 from me.

I haven't watched it in so long and now this club makes me want to go download all the Studio Ghibli films and watch them again ;_;

Nominating Fushigi Yuugi because it's probably the first anime I've had a strong memory of aside from Dragonball and Sailor Moon. It's the only series I got all the managa off, too. /nostalgia

I think we need some magical girls. *Shot*

Since Puella Magi is OUT OF THE QUESTION, is it possible to have a magical girl feature like Smile Precure or the new season (Doki Doki PreCure) that I still need to watch? I know it's "for children", but with a world where watching these kind of stuff like "My Little Ponies" seem to be okay by most adults with fun childhoods... So why not?

Or.. If you want a serious discussion, my only Satoshi Kon movie I have watched (thanks to a PSP disc import) was "Parika".
