The story centers around Ryūta Sakamoto, a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young man and a top-ranked player in the online combat game Btoom! One day, he wakes up on a tropical island without remembering how he got there. He sees a figure in the distance and asks for help. However, the figure responds by throwing something at Ryūta — a "BIM" bomb. In that moment, Ryūta comes to realize two things: one, his own life is in danger, and two, he is now in the world of Btoom!

TRAPPED IN A VIDEO GAME AGAIN. But I really still love that premise, even if it gets recycled to hell. And I think that this might actually be done much better than the more recent video game animus. We'll have to see, I'm downloading it now.

Just watched episode 9. Date-sensei is a tool, we all know it. That information was all already given in episode 8. But this new guy Oda is pretty much amazing. He's no Sakamoto but he's pretty damn good. Definitely looking forward to episode 10.
